Event: Quarantine
Characters: any characters trapped in rooms during the event
Setting: dormitory level rooms
Format: any
Summary: An unexpected series of explosions has trapped residents in the dorm rooms with no power and no way to get out. Try to communicate with the outside, deal with being stuck in a small room with other people... Deal with the really strange things that seem to be happening, too.
Warnings: typical Animus horror event warnings
[There are several more explosions, and the sound of things falling and crumbling outside. The dorm rooms themselves don't collapse or cave in, but the furniture and trunks and nightstands may be rattled and knocked about. Eventually, the lights flicker and go out entirely, leaving everyone in the dark. There are small red emergency lights lining the floors, but they don't seem to have come on all the way, and flicker on and off eerily.
After maybe twenty minutes everything falls silent. However, if you try the door, you'll find you can't get out...]

[This is said whilst he finishes maneuvering Sephiroth into place. He gives Ishtar a tolerant glance, despite his poor mood.]
and to show their foes that they are fierce and not easily defeated.
No thanks are necessary-- and I believe the chest should suffice.
I took my own in the thigh.

[ She replied nodding to his words. She's not sure what else to say while he helps her out. ]
I can see that, definitely. Okay, I'll do that then.
[ With that being said, Ishtar takes her syringe and stabs it slowly into Sephiroth's chest to get the liquid into his bloodstream. ]
Still, thank you again, Lacelot

But as soon as thick-lashed eyelids began to twitch they opened to a stinging sense of dizziness right behind them which instantly crunched glimmers of green closed again as Sephiroth raised a gloved hand groggily to hold his forehead against the instant headache that felt as if someone had dealt a hammer blow right between his eyes.
As he lay there, not even acknowledging Ishtar or even Lancelot who might have stayed nearby, Sephiroth then realized something worse - that too-often experienced sensation of mortality, of a blanket smothering his extended senses and instincts, weighing his movements down from their usual fluidity - powerlessness.
Steeling his resolve against that sickening feeling it he rolled away from Ishtar and pushed against the floor in an attempt to at least get back into sitting-]

...Hey do you need some water or anything?
[ She knew that it was a sensitive question and she knew how he was but still. ]

Pointedly ignoring Nesir's existence in the room he locks his eyes on Ishtar's face when she talks. Renewed anger swells within him, that apologetic smile just spoke volumes - she'd done it, when at least being unconscious freed him from the hallucinations and all the noises. How dare she.]
Save it. [Sephiroth grumbles in her direction, the hand at his chest again rising to cradle his forehead between thumb and forefinger.]

Yeah, he was pissed, but she did what she could and that was it. It's not like she wanted to. She didn't want to see him die, so she tested the waters. ]
I know you're pissed, but honestly, it's better than watching you die.
hope you dont mind

Now wasn't this pitifully ironic? If he wasn't feeling altogether too wretched and uncertain of his own defense being quick enough if Nesir launched a dagger next Sephiroth might well have thrown it back at her the same way she had done days ago.
But No. Sephiroth is tired by now of all of it and is at the end of the proverbial stick-with-which-to-give-a-shit and so he picks up the bottle. He hadn't even realized how dry his throat was until he'd grumbled at Ishtar and so, unscrewing the cap and smelling the water first Sephiroth took a small sip.]

lmao you guys XD
[ She replied softly. She was glad that he at least didn't snap back, though the irony was pretty damn obvious. She was already under fire, so she left it at that. Kind of was just a term used because she lacked a better term for that. ]
