Summary: An unexpected series of explosions has trapped residents in the dorm rooms with no power and no way to get out. Try to communicate with the outside, deal with being stuck in a small room with other people... Deal with the really strange things that seem to be happening, too.
Warnings: typical Animus horror event warnings

[There are several more explosions, and the sound of things falling and crumbling outside. The dorm rooms themselves don't collapse or cave in, but the furniture and trunks and nightstands may be rattled and knocked about. Eventually, the lights flicker and go out entirely, leaving everyone in the dark. There are small red emergency lights lining the floors, but they don't seem to have come on all the way, and flicker on and off eerily.

After maybe twenty minutes everything falls silent. However, if you try the door, you'll find you can't get out...]

Even a game as simple as Go Fish? Well, John can't really say he's terrible at them. He's beat his alternate self several times at many other various card games. Well, next round of cards they can play blackjack.

"Nope. Go Fish. Got any Kings?"

Allen produces his only king with an almost liquid grace. Cards are the realm where he goes from simple to lethal in an instant. Taking a card from the deck between them only yields a nine of spades. Nothing he can use just yet.

None of his disappointment shows on his face.

The cards are relaxing as he eases to one side to take pressure off his leg. "Have any nines?"

He lays down the kings and hands over a nine. Cards were just something John did for fun when he needed to clear his mind, and with his current situation. He can't really think of doing anything else.

"I wonder when we're getting out of here." Allen gets to go again, he did get a card out of John.
