Format: Anything
Summary: Zo has set up a carnival for the residents, but it's not meant to last. Anyone wandering after the bombs go off might see things they never wanted to see...
Warnings: Psychological and body horror
Note: Characters entering the carnival from the 27th to the 30th will experience visions! Please refer to the info post for details and reply to this thread if your character enters the carnival during these days.

[The carnival has taken up the entirety of the cafeteria. A large roller coaster and ferris wheel tower over the residents, while a child-sized roller coaster, a merry-go-round, and spinning teacups project much less daunting silhouettes. Stands are set up with standard carnival foods available, from ice cream to cotton candy. These stands do not ask for anything as payment.

On the twenty-seventh, the carnival appearance changes. The machinery all appears rusted and broken down, as if weathered with decades of rain and snow. Plants grow up and around the rides, ruining them, and all the food is rotten.]

Alright. [Aleph lets himself be led along to the teacups.]

Do they actually put tea in those? They look too big for that.

[Sealand laughs as they reach the entrance, shaking his head.] They don't put tea in there! That's where we go!

Then aren't they just regular cups? Or peoplecups.

[Stop trying to logic this, Aleph, you'll hurt your head.]

[bydefacto]

No... Because they look like teacups, see!

[They're making their way onto the ride now, and Sealand runs over to the nearest teacup. He clambers in, gesturing Aleph to follow.]

[Aleph climbs in next to him, and looks around.]

So what do you do on this ride?

[bydefacto]

You wait and then the teacup spins you round and round and round, while the floor spins round and round and round, until you feel like throwing up and get really dizzy! It's the best!

[Hope none of that put you off, Aleph. Because the ride is starting up now.]

[Aleph is practiced at many things, but spinning around is not one of them. He's just gonna... hold onto the edge of the teacup now.

Man, Sealand wasn't kidding about the dizzy part.]

Do you do this a lot?

[Sealand is giggling as the teacups begin moving and almost doesn't hear Aleph. He's thrown sideways toward his friend as the ride gets faster and faster, waving up his hands in a way that is not at all showing off.]

Lots of times back home! Wheeee~!

[Aleph's head is spinning. He is not ready to let go of the teacup's side yet, no sir.]

Y-you seem pretty comfortable with it...

[Sealand laughs and whoops, his hands still up in the air.]

Uh- Uh huh! Isn't this great?!

[alephbet]

R-really great...

[Give him the roller coaster instead or something.]

[bydefacto]

[Sealand cheers, feeling dizzy and exhilarated. Eventually though, the teacup begins to slow to a stop and Sealand pulls a face.]

Aw... [He turns to Aleph.] Wasn't that cool? Do you wanna go again? Or we could try the rollercoaster?!

The rollercoaster sounds good, let's do that!

[He's not sure what that is. But it isn't this.]

[bydefacto]

Okay! [He climbs out of the teacup, feeling unsteady on his feet but grinning from ear to ear.] I guess you've never been on a rollercoaster either?

[alephbet]

[Aleph climbs out after him, also unsteady.]

No, but I can guess which of these it is. It's the... up and down one, right?

[bydefacto]

Yeah, the windy one over there! [He points to the rollercoaster opposite them and takes Aleph's hand to drag him over to it.]

It goes really, super fast! And really, super high up!

[alephbet]

All right. I can handle high up and fast.

[He may have been thrown out of Heaven straight down to Earth once. And not taken damage.]

Good! Here it is!

[He rushes through the entrance for the rollercoaster, bolting for the cart at the front and beckoning Aleph over. Once he's sitting in the cart, he grins.]
