In which the entire tower collectively goes OH SHIT
Characters: The entire tower. PARTY POST.
Setting: Take a wild guess.
Format: Either or.
Summary: The tower has been reduced to one room, and it's chock full of monsters. Who you gonna call?
Warnings: Lots, the least of which being language...
[Well, ladies and gentlemen, shit dun hit the fan.]
[The tower has been condensed to one room with pretty much nothing in it. This post? Do whatever in it. General reactions. Go. ...As for Ienzo, he's just kind of sitting in the corner, head in his hands.]

He has shit to do, okay?
He's a whirling dervish of threshecutionating death, and he's scything (sickling?) through monsters to save anyone in his line of sight. Highblood, lowblood or alien doesn't matter to him.
Then a monster out of his nightmares looms up in front of him, and he pales, taking a frightened step back as he looks up at the creature. Oops, he might be in trouble.]

He had lost sight of Signless but when they all ended up in the large empty cafeteria. He saw him being attacked by the creature and leapt towards him, aiming a kick to the back on the monster.]

But the drone stumbles forward, shocked as Suzaku kicks it, and that breaks the spell. Signless slashes at one of its massive arms, knocking the filial pail to the floor and cutting it deeply. Sparks fly from the slash in its hard metal shell.]

It swings around and backhands Signless in the face, dropping him to his knees with a snarl]

Suzaku launched himself at it again, giving up on any attempt to damage it and focusing on keeping it away from Signless.]

[It's certainly a fearsome creature, that much is for sure, but she has no idea why this one, in particular, has caused him so much hesitation. It doesn't really matter, anyway, since she immediately calls on her magic once she realizes he might be in trouble. The creature is on the receiving end of Stop spell which halts any motion it might have been about to make, but she knows all too well that the spell will wear off very quickly, and that Signless needs to wake up and deal with this thing right now.]
Signless!

Namine, stay away from it!
[Then he realizes that the drone is actually frozen in place, and he attacks it again, not understanding what's wrong, but not wanting to waste the opportunity]

[She starts to try to explain, but stops automatically when her name is called. The order makes her immediately feel guilty for concerning him, but at least he's moving again. Fortunately, the Drone isn't, at least not yet, but it will be soon. She has no idea how fast it might be able to move when it... actually can move, but she's not sure she's ready for another Stop spell (
stupid cooldowns), so she prepares for a Reflect instead and watches for any signs of movement from the Drone, figuring that by the time she manages to tell Signless the Drone is frozen, it'll already be free again.]no subject
Signless turns and moves closer to Namine, watching the Drone carefully.]
Thanks for the help.

But-- what is that?

I can't remember if you need a keyblade for these things...
It's possible to kill them without it, but it's harder and doesn't free the heart.
I thought it was something like that
Yep /o/

Maybe it's blind bravado, or maybe it's just plain and simple panic for the other troll's safety, but Kanaya finds herself rushing towards the drone from the rear, yanking the cord of her chainsaw so hard that her knuckles hurt.
With the mightiest swing that a slender troll of six sweeps can manage, she heaves the chainsaw and brings the blade around. It collides with the drone with the shrill grinding of metal, but Kanaya doesn't give, growling from deep in her throat and throwing all of her weight into damaging the monster while Signless composes himself.]

Are you alright? [Physically, he doesn't look too bad, but for a clearly competent fighter to suddenly freeze up like that...
Not that she doesn't understand. Culling drones are some of her own worst nightmares.]

You doing okay, kid?

Wow, she didn't think his commitment issues were that bad.
ANYWAY just as the drone's about to strike, it will be hit in the face with... some other large monster, knocking it clean over (and killing the gruesome projectile). That accomplished, Aradia eagerly approaches Signless, grinning and waving.]
Heeey! You all right there?
no subject
He waves back, smiling awkwardly]
Hey, I'm fucking great, you?
no subject
Fantastic. Just like old times, eh?

And sure, the drone might be bigger than him, but it's not by too much! He leans his head down and thrusts it forward to stab it clean through its back! He doesn't even know that the Signless is there so it's not really to save him, but just for fun.]

Thanks.

Instead of saying anything, he bares his teeth, lowering his head again and drives it forward as if about to impale the Signless without warning or any sort of reason.
But oh... pleasant surprise. The horns don't even touch the Signless and instead they pass by either side of him, stopping abruptly when they hit a scaly bipedal creature of some sort. It shrieks in pain and dies quickly. Lifting his head, all that hair swaying around them, he jabs the Signless in the chest with a finger.]
Best be keeping on your motherfucking toes, brother.

I'll keep that in mind, brother.
[Somehow the word sounds different coming from Signless]

[The too-calm voice is followed by a gunshot, and then a wash of flames, burning the hulking, somewhat insectoid creature to nothing more than a husk- one that collapsed into ash as Chidori's axes made their home on either shoulder, just to make sure it was properly dead. She reeled the weapons in with a flick of her wrist, giving him a once-over as she moved closer.]
I don't think they'll stop simply because you do.

Thanks. I just panicked for a second there. Embarrassing...
