[Diarmuid shakes his head, a fond smile on his face.]

He just can't go for as long as I can. I figure I will go get him in a few hours.

Ah, good. I wouldn't want him to be lonely or anything.

Nope, just resting.

[Diarmuid laughs softly.]

Thank you again for getting him for me, brother.

You're welcome. Think of him as a present. Make it up to me at Christmas or something.

[He looks sadly at the pile of weapons.]

If we have the chance to do anything fun, that is...

Yeah...we're gonna be sort of pressed for festivities this year. Dunno if we'll even have time to make presents.

[He pouts.]

[Diarmuid gives his brother a warm smile.]

Besides, it is not about the gifts. It is about being together and celebrating the return of the light. It's fitting we are fighting right now to return the light to our lives, in all honesty.

Does this count as our gift for the whole Tower, then?

Well, I had not really thought of it that way, but yes, I guess you could say that is exactly what this is. It's not like I wasn't gifting weapons to people before this anyway...

Then I guess this is as big of a party as we're gonna get.

[He sweeps his arm out at the cafeteria.]

It's a good party even if it is not the usual kind. Lots of wonderful people working together so that we will have a reason to celebrate in the future. You can't ask for much more.

...I'd ask for a cigarette. But nothing else besides.

I'd suggest you ask Waver, but it might be more trouble than it's worth. That pack I got him way back is probably almost gone by now.

Is he...still mad at you about everything that happened? Or did you two work things out?

I dunno. I haven't spoken to him since the party. What do you think?

I don't know. That is why I asked. We have talked some...but not much about you. I should ask next time I talk to him. I don't want him blaming you for what happened. Especially, since you and I have worked things out.

Maybe, but don't push him if he's still mad, okay? It's all because he cares about you so much.

But I care greatly about you both. I would rather not have you two angry with each other.
