Well Romeo's didn't and he will share! [Open]

Characters: Romeo and everyone!
Setting: Floor fifteen
Format: Starting in prose but I'll match you!
Summary: Romeo got a puppet theatre for his reward, but it is not much good without puppets!
Warnings: Hopefully none! But will add if there are!

Romeo struggled down to the workshop carrying his puppet theatre. Well truthfuly it wasn't his, it was doctor Casella's and Bianca's too he guessed since she lived with the doctor. The fact that they had brought it to him proved to him that the world definitly hadn't ended, though he hoped that they hadn't hurt Doctor Casella or Bianca when they had taken it.

He felt a little guilty that it was here now and not with Bianca, but he had also noticed that a lot of people's rewards were not very nice things at all. Lots of people were upset, and the bad people were still hurting them.

So Romeo thought he could share his reward with everyone, if he found some of his friends they could put on a show to chear everyone else up. But the puppet theatre didn't have any scenery with it, nor did it have puppets. So he was on his way to go make some.

He leant the theatre against the wall and began to hunt for supplies.

[Yes aliens are weird, not that Romeo knows what an alien is. He nods slowly, because hadn't the boy just said he didn't want to be nice because nice people got filleted.] Yes, you are nice and not a bad person sorry if I made you sad.

Fish are fun, but I don't really know any stories about fish. Do you know any? What's your name? I'm Romeo!

You didn't make me sad. Not like I really care. [And he'll go to his grave insisting on that. Hypocrisy and Eridan are more than nodding acquaintances.]

[He considers that]

I don't really knoww any fish stories, though maybe a pirate story wwould be good? My name's Eridan Ampora.

Oh. Well as long as you are not sad. [This troll was very confusing, Romeo kept smiling though] Pleased to meet you Eridan Ampora. A pirate story would be good! Or we could perform Moby Dick, that's on a boat and has a whale in it!

Whales? [He is intrigued by that and looks up from his penciling. Bitches love wwhales] Wwhat's that Moby Dick story about, then?

[Romeo nods and thinks back to when he read the book, also in the time he was staying with doctor Casella]

The main character is someone nobody really likes and he goes to sea to try and find some people who like him. And then the ship is full of bad people who want to kill a whale named Moby Dick. The main bad man got hurt by Moby Dick so wants revenge and will do anything to hunt him down and kill him.

In the end the whale sinks the ship and eats all the bad humans but Ishmael survives because... [Romeo frowns] Well because he is nice I guess and didn't try and hurt Moby Dick, so gets to live.

Sounds pretty farfetched, if you ask me. [He thinks about this story] But I like the revvenge angle. I think you could do a lot wwith that, and the bit wwhere the wwhale eats the ship wwould be pretty excitin', evven if it's not really accurate to the wway wwhales tend to act.

Well it's meant to be farfetched it's just a story. If stories were like real life they wouldn't be so exciting!

[He nods along though he frowns at the end] I'm pretty sure that's what the book said [The words had been long and there had been a lot of pages]

Maybe that whale was just really really angry.

Wwell, I guess. But that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be accurate in its basic details. You wwouldn't wwrite a story wwhere gravity wwent up, wwould you? Because then evveryone wwould be all irritated and confused.

[He cocked his head] Guess they might a pissed it off enough, wwhat wwith seekin' revvenge. But then leavvin' the one guy alivve, is a bit of a stretch. Howw wwould the wwhale knoww he wwas the one nice guy on the wwhole vvessel?

Gravity? [Romeo blinked at the troll confused and then shrugged at the question.] Maybe he asked him or maybe he just guessed since all the bad people were trying to stab him and the good man was leaving him alone.

[He was starting to feel the way he used to around Alfredo when Alfredo knew all sorts of clever things and Romeo knew nothing, even though he had tried so hard and could read now.]

Wwas it a talkin' wwhale?

[This is fictional, he supposes fakey fake things are expected to show up, like talking whales and dancing shrimp. He picks up the piece of wood and takes it over to a machine to cut it along the lines he drew. He's making a ship. It'll be grand!]

I don't know... I can't remember it actually talking but that doesn't mean it couldn't. [He follows the troll over to the machine and watches as cuts the wood. He also rumages through materials to find some blue material for the sea.]

[It's going to be a big pirate ship! With sails and masts and he's got all these plans ydek]

Wwell it's probably going to need to talk in your story or people wwon't get wwhy it's doing things.

[Romeo nodded] That's right, they might get confused if it can't talk because a lot of the book is told by the nice man but he just thinks it and people wont know what is going on in his head.

[White fabric for sails, get!] Though I guess you could just havve that nice man say his thoughts out loud.

[He has lots of blue fabric now, and is looking for a knife to cut it with, he finds weird two bladed things instead and holds them awkwardly trying to work out how to cut with them] We could, but then wouldn't the people watching get confused, like he was talking to himself?

[Puppet theatre was complicated!]

Then he should tell the audience! He can talk to the audience, maybe.

[He steps over to Romeo and grabs his hand to correct his grip] You nevver used scissors before?

Yes! He could talk to them like he was telling a story! [He blinks as his grip was corrected, that made it easier!] Scissors?

[He shook his head] Is that what they are called? [They looked a little bit like the things mrs Rossi had used to cut Anzelmo's hair with, but he hadn't known what they were called and hadn't asked because he would have gotten into trouble.]

You'vve nevver seen scissors before? Wwhat kind a backwwards wworld are you from?

[Romeo pulled a face at him] Of course I have, I just didn't know that was what they were called. [He struggled in cutting the material, though the new grip made it easier.]

My worlds not backwards, it's got loads of great stuff!

Like wwhat? [He stands up the ship, considering it for a moment, then starts hanging the sails on]

Like steam trains! [Steam trains are the coolest thing ever okay] They go so fast!

Vvehicles made of steam?

[Romeo nods happily] Well they are made of metal and stuff as well, but steam makes them go!

Wwoww. I'vve nevver thought a that possibility.

[Romeo grinned] They go really fast, I never been on one but my friend did! [He has managed to cut out the rough outline of what is meant to be a whale.]
