Summary: Riki's offered a way to help keep the Tower powered a little longer. Obviously this is going to cause a lot of discussion and debate so let's CONSOLIDATE
Warnings: Nothing as of yet. Possibly eventually, so keep an eye on subject lines and I 'll try to change to reflect any developments

[No doubt Riki's announcement would be polarizing, but the instructions themselves were clear: Floor 1 at noon if you want to help out. And if you want to meet people, try to talk them in or out of it? Or hell, maybe even just talk about the revelation on who is behind those explosions? Well, this is as good a place as any for that too.

Just remember to be careful near the staircase]

[His voice is soft, like it was days ago when he had finally broken down and cried on her.]

[After a moment, Xion realizes what he meant. "Never lose your soul in the Tower of Animus." For a moment, there's a pang of fear deep in her chest, of terror. Dax's warnings were never given lightly. But then she quashes it. It doesn't change the fact that she doesn't have a choice. Besides...

She turns to face Reno fully.]

He said... he said that the soul is defined as the self, right? Riki said that whatever this does should leave us tired. That seems like something different, I think.

[For a moment she pauses, not sure how to continue.]

I know who I am.

I'm Xion. ...Daughter of you and Elena. Shion's and Ira's sister. R-replica of Sora, made from his memories. And I guess his little sister, too. Best friends with Roxas, and Axel, and Riku, and Sheba, and Asch, and so many others.

I'll never forget that. Ever. I'll always be me, and you'll always be a part of me. And... [Her voice hesitates, nearly fails, but she presses on] And even if something does happen, I know you all will find a way to bring me back.

[Her friends are her power.]

[It's happening again.

Someone close was leaving. Maybe not physically, or emotionally... or in any way that could be fundamentally distinguishable, but the person that stands in front of him was leaving. Someone different would come back, changed by the experience. Sacrificed.

Why did it always happen to the people he loves?

And he stays behind.

This time he can make it different.]

Before you go, Xion...

[His face doesn't change, and tears don't come; he's already cried. Instead, he just pulls her into a hug. Words didn't mean much, but he'll say them anyway.]

[Xion hugs him back, tightly. Truth be told, to a certain (though lesser) extent, her words had been a method of convincing and reminding herself as much as him. But she does believe them.

Her friends and family will always be able to help her, no matter what happens here.]
