Summary: Riki's offered a way to help keep the Tower powered a little longer. Obviously this is going to cause a lot of discussion and debate so let's CONSOLIDATE
Warnings: Nothing as of yet. Possibly eventually, so keep an eye on subject lines and I 'll try to change to reflect any developments

[No doubt Riki's announcement would be polarizing, but the instructions themselves were clear: Floor 1 at noon if you want to help out. And if you want to meet people, try to talk them in or out of it? Or hell, maybe even just talk about the revelation on who is behind those explosions? Well, this is as good a place as any for that too.

Suzaku? [ he blinked, losing his track of thought as he saw the other. he was surprised. was he...? was he sacrificing his life too? ] Suzaku, you shouldn't be here.

Why not? [He raised an eyebrow at Lelouch.]

[doasisay]

You shouldn't risk your life like this. [ he paused ] I'm here so that you can stay here longer. You and Rolo. You both... [ he shook his head, being sentimental would only make him upset and regret this decision ]

[swordofzero]

[He frowned and shook his head.] I am a soldier, it is my job. It is you and Rolo who should stay safe.

[doasisay]

But you shouldn't just sacrifice your life, it's important too. [ he frowned ]

There are people here that care about you and want you to stay. You've been with Rolo for a while too, even...if things are strained now, they'll get better.

...I don't want either of you to have to go back to our--your world where there's no one.

I think Rolo would much prefer me to sacrifice myself than you.

[doasisay]

He might but...I'm not the Lelouch from his world, I'm not even the same from your world. Something happened to him in his world and I don't know anything about it... I don't know what to say or tell him or anything. I don't know how to help. He seems happy with me here, like the Rolo that I know. But that doesn't mean that he's okay. It bothers me... I don't even know how to help you.

You know more about him. And you have friends here who care about you, Suzaku. You need to stay behind. Don't do this.

[swordofzero]

It is because of those I care about that I do this. [He looked at him, seriously] You will be doing Rolo no favours by going down there.

[doasisay]

Suzaku, you don't need to do this. [ he keeps urging, frowning deeply ] If not him, then I'll do it for you. So that you can stay here with the people that you've met and care for. Please, Suzaku. You don't have to do this too.

[swordofzero]

I don't have to listen to your orders. [Not when Lelouch was like this anyways] I have made my choice.

[doasisay]

...What? I'm not ordering you to do anything or even being bossy. If anything, it's more like I'm trying to plead with you.

Do you honestly want to leave everyone you've become friends with behind? There are other me's out there, Suzaku. Ones that...maybe you like a lot better. I'm not sure why, but I feel as though you hate me.

Anyway, Suzaku, there's not another you out there that has the same connection with the people here as you do now.

...That doesn't make any sense. If you cared about them at all, you would stay with them.

Yes. [He begins to turn away, because he is not going to listen to any more of Lelouch trying to convince him not to go.]

[doasisay]

Suzaku? [ he reaches a hand out to grab his sleeve when he turns away ] Please, Suzaku. You don't have anything to prove and you need to stay here!

If you don't listen to me, I'll have no choice but to stop you... One of your friends has already lost someone, I can't...let that happen to them again. They were so upset.

[swordofzero]

[Suzaku froze as he was grabbed and let Lelouch pull him back around] And do you think Rolo will not be upset? If you go.

[doasisay]

He will... But I'm not the Lelouch that he knows; the one that he lived with and...it bothers me. I don't belong here. I almost wish I hadn't been "saved", or whatever they call it.

I can't let him go back. And I can't let you go back or let you do this. You need to stay here.

[swordofzero]

Lelouch. [He frowned at him] He is not the Rolo I knew back home [Which is perhaps a good thing, though he seems exactly the same] No one here is from the same world as anyone else. They still care for each other, you were saved, you belong here as much as anyone.

[Even though Suzaku is guilty of wishing it was a different Lelouch, he wouldn't go as far to say he shouldn't be allowed to live]

[doasisay]

If you're not going to back down from this, then I'm not either. We can just leave it at that.

[swordofzero]

Fine. [Suzaku did not look impressed] Then we will both go down. [And Suzaku would do his best to protect Lelouch from whatever they found there]

[ he wasn't happy about that decision, but gave a nod ]

[Suzaku nodded back and then turned to go and find any others he knew. Some he would respect the decisions of, but there were others he would try to convince to stay]
