Summary: Riki's offered a way to help keep the Tower powered a little longer. Obviously this is going to cause a lot of discussion and debate so let's CONSOLIDATE

[No doubt Riki's announcement would be polarizing, but the instructions themselves were clear: Floor 1 at noon if you want to help out. And if you want to meet people, try to talk them in or out of it? Or hell, maybe even just talk about the revelation on who is behind those explosions? Well, this is as good a place as any for that too.

I am still unclear what went wrong towards the end. Our part went smoothly enough.

[Considering they actually progressed far enough into the plan to get everything else killed involved.]

He had that annoying ability to nullify the glamour. Something that will be rectified next we meet.

[His lips curl into a smug smile at the thought. For every scalpel he had to dodge, he would see the scientist skewered with a dozen weapons.]

[It was contagious, Veronica held a grin of her own. Scalpels were easy to dodge. Area affecting attacks weren't.]

It just g-goes t-to show that w-we were enough of a p-problem that he had t-to use it. Next time we fight h-him, t-things will be different.

[He's confident and relaxed as he agrees, resting one hand on his hip as he once again regards the girl in front of him.]

[She shrinks a little under the boy's gaze. It's easy to tell when someone is eying her scars.]

[Archer chuckles faintly as the girl seems to flinch away, leaning in slightly.]

Of course you do. Tell me, what happened that led to you earning those marks?

I, u-uh...

[Her voice trails off, ending in a small squeak and she tries to piece together what exactly to say.

And she wasn't about to tell him that she had them because she was made in a lab.]

Uh... I-I got them in fights. M-most of them anyways. I'm a b-bodyguard.

[bowandblade]

A bodyguard, at your age! [He almost sounds impressed, and he flashes a broader smile.]

That would explain why you were fairly competent out there.
