Summary: Riki's offered a way to help keep the Tower powered a little longer. Obviously this is going to cause a lot of discussion and debate so let's CONSOLIDATE
Warnings: Nothing as of yet. Possibly eventually, so keep an eye on subject lines and I 'll try to change to reflect any developments

[No doubt Riki's announcement would be polarizing, but the instructions themselves were clear: Floor 1 at noon if you want to help out. And if you want to meet people, try to talk them in or out of it? Or hell, maybe even just talk about the revelation on who is behind those explosions? Well, this is as good a place as any for that too.

Just remember to be careful near the staircase]

*Enoch looks down at Taiki as he takes his hand and squeezes the little kirin's hand in reassurance.*

I'll be all right. *A pause as he recalls finding Naoya amongst the volunteers.* ...You're not here to volunteer as well, are you?

Yes... I want to help... [He shuffles his feet, hoping Enoch isn't mad with him]

I know Riki said it won't kill us...but these things rarely tend to go as expected. Are you certain you'd rather not stay here in case they need a healer?

*Though it doesn't sound like there will be much bloodshed down there. Hopefully. He wonders which is really best for Taiki...*

I... [He hadn't thought of that] Um... I don't know... I just want to help...

*Enoch has to think about it for a long moment. On the one hand, he doesn't want Taiki in danger. On the other, who says the machine is certain danger compared to the tower? It's likelier someone will be injured here - and while that means they'll need a healer, Enoch is more interested in protecting Taiki himself, having instinctively tried to guide him away from the unknown. But...*

No...the machine. There's less likely to be bloodshed.

*It's the one time he'd ever ask a child to do such a thing. But in this case, it seems much safer for Taiki to come along with him. What bloodshed could sitting in some machine entail?*

[Taiki blinked but nodded, understanding that Enoch wanted to help him and keep him safe.] Okay... I think it will be alright... Just a bit scary probably.
