I don't think so.

[Xion sounds unsure herself, though it's more due to not being sure what's going on than the state of reality versus dreams.]

We're all here, right?

So it seems, as far as I can tell.

[All Ion can do is agree as he looks at Xion, then looks around, almost trying to squint in the darkness--if darkness really is what it can be called. There is no real physical plane...yet, somehow, he finds himself able to stand, though it feels a bit unfamiliar for such a simple action.

In the end, Ion gives up the effort. He recognizes what he can see of the closest people to them, but otherwise...nothing. And he doubts anything is going to magically appear. That is, of course, until he notices the strange idea that he should be moving forward.]

Perhaps it's only me, but...do you feel as if we should be trying to reach some destination?

[Xion hesitates]

Yeah. I think... I think we're all feeling it. Though I don't know where we're going, or why.

[It's not like they can see their potential destination.]

[Well it was certainly safe to assume that they all were. And if the two of them had no explanation as to how or why, then it was likely the rest of the residents trapped with them were just as confused.]

Then there's only one way to find out.

[He tries to sound braver than he feels, more sure that it's a good idea to walk than he is.]

We'll have to be careful, of course, but there's little sense in staying put if there's somewhere we're all meant to be.

[And it wasn't as if they hadn't done more dangerous activities than this, in the past--like diving more-or-less headfirst down an elevator shaft.]
