[Diarmuid nods, his frown becoming something more determined. He's glad to see that this, on top of their conversation from before, hasn't dampened her will to fight. Though, if the things she hinted at during that conversation were any indication, this--as extreme as it is--is probably not a big deal to her.]

I am grateful, at least, that there seem to be no monsters here. Can you use your powers by any chance?

[He remembers her spells from before and knowing they are available should things go badly will be a great comfort. Especially, since his own abilities are still mostly non-existent and he knows he's not the only person here who doesn't have their powers because of recent collar fluid changes. He can still fight, of course, but there is a bit difference between being able to fight and being able to heal.]
