[Waver blinked a few times upon waking up, genuinely confused. He ran a hand through his hair to get it out of his face before tying it back in a ponytail, trying to wake up fully and process this.]

[It wasn't possible he'd walked into the wrong room the night before, was it? No, he'd definitely been alone when he'd fallen asleep at an ungodly hour. A cursory examination of his trunk revealed that the few things he owned were all in place as well. Catching sight of the note explaining things cleared up his confusion, but left a new problem or two.]

[How incredibly aggravating, if well-intentioned. Waver had been enjoying having a room to himself--it was quiet and nearly no one actually bothered him. And since he doubted this was limited to just him, the remaining question was who else had been relocated and where?]

[Pulling on the usual green suit jacket, he contemplated going out and taking inventory of the situation rather than staying and introducing himself. Social situations were not his specialty.]

1-07 and 1-05

[Assassin feels disoriented as she sees her new roommates, and then when she goes out to see her new room number. Apparently, all the rooms have been switched. She has to wonder if this is Riki's doing, even if it's supposed to be Zo's month.]

[No matter what, this means she has to re-memorize all the names on the doors. As she examines the next room over, she realizes that now she and Claudia are neighbors. For all the confusion caused by this switch, it seems that there was one good thing about it. It would be easier for Assassin to get to her Master now.]

[She knocks on the door, ready to tell Claudia the good news.]

[ Lelouch had woken up earlier, but thinking that he might actually still be sleeping, he had fallen back asleep. he was curled up in what blankets he had with his face to the wall. he didn't snore or anything, actually...Lelouch was a rather quiet sleeper. that would probably be great for everyone new in the room ]

[ once he heard someone moving, he stirred and then jumped up actually. his short hair was pressed to the side of his face where he had been sleeping. his eyes still a little blurry, he could see that there was someone in the room. at least someone that he didn't know... but he wasn't going to attack them like most other people here might ]

[ he blinked a couple of times, trying to focus in on who it might be before he spoke up. maybe they were lost? ]

...Can I help you with something?

[Sam blinked when he saw someone he hadn't met before in the room. He sat up and looked at the man. He recognised him, even if hadn't spoken to him before, so maybe he wasn't new. Unless this was another double.] Hello? Are you alright there?

For a given measure of alright, yes.

[Waver straightened up and folded his arms, remaining composed. On the scale of things that could have happened in this place, this wasn't more than an annoyance.]

You'll both have to forgive the sudden intrusion. It seems I've been relocated involuntarily.

1-16 - Ion, Rick, Asch, Garviel

[Rick should be awake at this point--he should be cleaning, too, now that his powers are stable enough for him to actually remain in his room for long enough to tidy it up, or going about his jobs, or at least cognizant of the fact that there are two new people occupying the other half of the room. But something--possibly the blood loss, multiple cracked bones and crushed hand and partially-healed lacerations--seems enough to keep the blonde man in bed far past the bright hour of six.]

[But while Rick might be peacefully sleeping, that says nothing about his new roommates. They probably have much more vocal reactions to this new change of housing; it might even be enough to wake up Rick! Let's watch.]

2-08

Taiki realised as he woke up that he wasn't alone. That instead of being in an empty room all the other beds were full. He sat up with a start, frightened and wondering what had happened. Gohran was curled up next to him, in puppy form and he growled softly.

Taiki reached out to calm him, because even though being surrounded by people suddenly was scary, he didn't think any of them would hurt him.

[Sam got up properly, pulling on clothes] Relocated? [He frowned and then went to the door, opening to check the number, to check they were still in the same place.] Seems like a strange thing to happen.

2-06 ([OU] Suzaku Kururugi, [OU] Shinji Matou (EXTRA), [OU] Berserker (Lancelot), [OU] Sephiroth

[It had been yet another late night for Sephiroth before retiring to his Dormitory. He hadn't been monster hunting as such, only to the 3rd Floor Library for a few hours and then back.

But as ever, he is an early riser.

Sephiroth rolls over as he starts to wake up, squinting open eyes that he fully expects to be facing the door of the Dormitory, as always. But there is no door there. Eyebrows furrow as he fights the sleep back instantly, then realizes significantly that his orientation isn't the right way around. This isn't his Dormitory.

What the-

Next second he's pushed both hands into the mattress and is pretty much sat bolt upright in a sitting position. Instantly tensed like a great violent spring, glaring around the Dormitory at the other beds, now all with occupants. He recognizes where Lancelot is, but the other two--

After a lingering, caution-filled look around his eyes, now fully awake find the note next to his bed and Sephiroth grabs for it. An irritated grunt might be the first thing that the others' in the room would hear as they too woke up.]

Suzaku rarely slept in his room at all. Preferring to patrol the tower. Especially lately, he had been avoiding everyone since his run in with Rolo. He knew what had happened in the labyrinth and with Jason but he had mostly avoided people, watching a little on the network and going from what he had heard.

But tonight he had been forced to bed by his Geass, as the exhaustion and need to sleep in his own bed took hold. Waking up he realised there was more people in the room then there had been. He looked around, and his eyes narrowed as he saw the figure.

He was out of bed in an instant, grabbing his gun from his bedside table and moving to stand in front of Shinji's bed.]

[Rick isn't the only one not paying attention, at least initially. Asch's corner of the room is neat and ordered, with a photo framed on the nightstand and a pair of hairpins in front of it.

The redhead himself is an early riser, though, so he lifts his head not long into the morning - there's an extra pillow he raided from one of 4-06's empty beds squished in his arms, and he glances around the room with confusion through the mess of his bangs.]

What the hell...?

[ unfortunately, Lelouch remained where he was. he was still a little out of it from being woken up quickly ]

Re...located? So suddenly?

01-06 - Axel, Sora, David Puskás, Jade Curtiss

[At first, David doesn't suspect a thing.]

[The morning of the switcheroo, he gets up out of bed, wearing the same catsuit that everyone's given on the day they arrive—aside from his power armor suit, he has no other clothes, so that's what he wears to bed at night.]

[After he's taken care of his morning routine and come back fresh from a shower, David is finally awake and alert enough to realize something is amiss. And his first response is to stand in the doorway, mouth agape in surprise.]

[Where'd these three other guys come from?]

[Waver shrugged and raised his hands defensively.] Don't look at me, I'm just as lost here. I was in an empty room last night, and I think I would recall if that wasn't the case.

[Sure enough, his name was there with the rest of theirs...if 'Lord El-Melloi II' was a name. (It wasn't.)]

[A good question. Axel and Sora are people he recognizes, but when Jade Curtiss awakens, he notes that Lysandre is gone. This implies something immediately, but not having really known the flame-haired man, he can't be particularly put out by it.

Instead, as he finishes donning his uniform he lifts eyebrows at David when the other man walks on in and then gawks. He took a shower earlier in the morning, having just missed the other man, but now... well. Here they are.

Still, being Jade, he takes it in stride, and his tone when he speaks is pleasantly polite.]

Good morning. Is there something you needed?

1-20 (England, Enoch, Lucifel, Sealand)

[Seriously, if Lucifel had known that he'd get moved in yet another room again then he would have told Enoch not to make his request. Oh well... he wouldn't bother having it changed again, unless Zo put him in with someone he couldn't stand.

The big motorcycle in the room told him that he'd still share a room with Enoch. As for the other two...

They would have to see if they would get along.]

*Enoch himself is only just now waking, completely cocooned in his blanket from tossing and turning and curled up tight, his hands clutching the closed Arch. The previous month was a rough one for everyone, including him, after all, and his sleep has not gone untroubled for it. Slowly, he uncurls and unwraps himself, and blinks at the other two occupied beds for a moment before glancing over at Lucifel.

Still groggy, he reaches for the note he can see on the nightstand. Reads it. Looks up at the two nations now rooming with him.* ...Hello.

[Fortunately, at least one of them seems to be up and ready to greet the newcomers. Ion isn't exactly an early riser by choice so much as a painfully light sleeper. He's awake in any case, and smiles at Asch as the redhead sits up to greet the day. Ion's sitting on his own mattress, of course, hair still ruffled and eyes still sleepy.]

Oh, good morning, Asch. What a surprise!

[If it had only been the bed Asch resides in that sat occupied, Ion would've wondered what brought him there...but when he looks toward the fourth bed in the room and finds that one occupied, as well, he can think of a more logical explanation.]

Ah...it seems the administrators made some changes while we were sleeping.

[David glances around the room, from Jade to the other two beds, then back to Jade. Ever since his arrival in the Tower last year, David couldn't recall ever having new roomies—the other three guys in 5-08 had all vanished over time and were never replaced.]

Uh—you guys just move in?

[He hasn't bothered to glance at any room or floor signs during his morning routine, so ... he's still certain that he's living on the fifth floor.]

[Jade's eyebrows rise slightly at the question. Apparently this man didn't bother to check what floor he was actually on. Of course, given that Jade didn't notice him get moved in either, David probably never thought he would have reason to.]

I believe you've been moved in with us, actually.

[And that hits David like a metaphorical brick. His expression is rather like if he had been hit by a real one, too.]

Wait—what? Dis is 5-08, ain't it?

I'm afraid not. 1-06. It seems the administrators moved you in the middle of the night without any of us realizing it.

[Jade sounds awfully calm about that, all considered!]

1-12: Shirou Emiya, Naoya, Quark, and Mitchell Dominic

[Dio hadn't been gone for terribly long, but Quark had gotten used to staying in an empty dorm. He'd gotten used to the silence, if not the loneliness. It had seemed kinda cool at first, because there weren't any mean adults to tell him to shut up and go to sleep. The novelty of being able to jump up and down on his bed and stay up late had worn off really, really fast.

So, when he yawns loudly as he sits up, stretching and rubbing his eyes, it's a happy sort of excitement that fills him when he notices the other beds occupied. In his childlike excitement, Quark doesn't even stop to consider that maybe these people actually want to get some sleep before opening his mouth.]

Wow! New roommates!

[ The Space Marine is already up, armored, and working with his chainsword to make sure all the teeth are properly situated in it. He looks at the other resident of the room from behind his glowering red visor, and doesn't greet anyone, apparently quite... taciturn. ]

02-02 (Waver, Avenger, Edward Richtofen, Minato) warning: character death

[ The first thing that tips Avenger off to the new situation when he stirs, then uncurls sluggishly under the covers is the fact that he's waking up in a bed at all. This wasn't one of the nights he'd planned to spend sleeping in the room assigned to him. He hadn't anywhere near the dormitory levels last night, had he?

Sitting up in bed, shoulders slouching as the embodiment of All Evil of the World ran his fingers through messy black hair, and groans groggily. (acting. lies.) He yawns widely. His eyes rove about the room, taking notice of the dark lumps in the other beds and the slow, steady whistle of breathing that came out of their lungs. Then they fall upon the note.

Zo. The child Admin. Well, wasn't that nifty. He'd have to take stock of the change in housing, of where people had gotten shuffled around later.

His bare feet slapped against the floor and he's padded silently towards the end of his bed where his trunk was. And where his raggedly red mantle was. Yanking it open, he fished it out, along with his black wrappings. The Servant sits himself down on the trunk to begin the laborious process of re-winding them around his wrists and ankles. ]
