Summary: Zo needs help. What will you do?

Aria and the other retrieval units stand guard in the room and regard each person who enters with a little bit of caution. The reason quickly becomes clear: Zo lies unconscious on a bed that appears to have been stolen from a hospital recovery room. With the glamour down, he looks spectral: it's possible to look through his body and to the bed beneath. He's not quite a ghost, though, as he can be interacted with.

If Zo is attacked, the retrieval units will be quick to retaliate. They can't help Zo on their own, though--so maybe there's something you can do...

You did? Good.

[He grins at Zo.]

Does this mean he won't be bothering anyone else now?

He'll come back. [He looks over at Lancer, and his eyes are like pools of tar.] I can't--I could kill him, but--I didn't.

[puppy_lancer]

...And that's good too. If you don't wanna kill him, then don't.

[He does want Sephiroth dead, but Zo wasn't a kid who liked killing. It's almost a relief to know that Zo hasn't dirtied his hands yet.]

[He kneels down so he'll be eye-level with Zo.]

I heard you talking just then. Did Sephiroth...say something to you?

[Zo tries to wipe the tar-like substance off his face, but it just smears it around.]

He made me mad.

[puppy_lancer]

He makes everyone mad. That's the reason most of us hate him.

[H focuses on the tar leaking out of Zo's face. It's unsettling, but it reminds him of...tears?]

[He raises his to pat Zo's shoulder in a comforting gesture.]

I should have stopped him before he hurt everyone like he did. [He sounds very apologetic for that.]

[He smiles and shakes his head.]
