Sleepover before the storm

Setting: Floor 101
Format: Whatever floats your boat
Summary: It's the night before the infiltration. People are plotting, discussing, and Xion has brought a Dream Eater so those who want to try to get a good night's sleep have a marginally higher chance of doing so. So in short it's a Tower-flavored sleepover. Bring your own pillows.
Warnings: Nothing in the top level. Will try to edit if anything changes but if something comes up in one of your threads make sure to add a warning in the subject line

[Standard mingle post procedure. Make your top levels. Tag around. Have fun. Or not, this is Animus after all.

Notes will have been passed out and quiet discussion gone around by word of mouth, just saying that several people were spending the night in the hidden floor. Anybody who spoke to Xion would have been told that she's trying to figure out a way everybody can get a good night's sleep. You'll need to supply your own blankets and pillows but... hey, at least if you have trouble sleeping, you'll have company?

Note that any characters who sleep on the Hidden Floor, if they normally suffer from nightmares will likely have notably lessened or absent nightmares (up to your discretion) owing to the Dream Eater that Xion has brought with.]

[He gives a slight smile at the music.

There's not much they can do but wait, is there? This is completely unknown territory. Neal isn't too knowledgeable at stealth, but he managed to avoid Peter Pan for the equivalent of hundreds of years.

It's nostalgic in a way he isn't sure he understands. Maybe it's because of how much it clearly means to her.]

We'll be fine. You'll see.

[It's said quietly as to not wake up the people who are already asleep.]

[It's perhaps more familiar territory than she should entirely be comfortable with for Zelda, but she tries not to think about that too much, instead trying to use what knowledge she has to help comfort the less experienced. The calm before the storm is not something that is unfamiliar to her, so perhaps that's why she's sharing this song that is oh-so precious to her.]

We have come too far to fall now.

[Said simply, resolutely in a way that suggests she does truly believe that, but occasionally she need to remind herself of it.]

[There's so little time.

Everything has gotten so messed up, so wrong that he doesn't understand how the people who had been in the tower longer than him could even function, but here he was.]

I think I'm going to stay behind in case something happens.

[He was good at sneaking around, but when it came to poking around the administrative files he wasn't so sure he'd be any help.]

That way, if something happens up here, maybe I'll be of some use.

Someone needs to keep watch over the children.

[She doesn't say as much so specifically, but it's fairly clear there is one child in particular she is thinking of. It always leaves her uneasy, leaving Tetra behind during times like these, even if she knows how much she's grown since they first met, knows it is necessary for the girl to have any hope at a future at all.]
