Yes, and we all need that to recover and plan. Getting a hold of the machine is a huge step, but it won't do us much good if we are too wiped out to do anything with it.

[Diarmuid gazes into his tea, thinking.]

Whether or not she ends up with Riki's powers, at least there is one thing that we can count on...hopefully. Reno told me that during one of their hacking attempts they found out that if Ruana tries to use Dax's powers there will be a time frame where she will be completely unable to use other powers. There has to be a way to use that to stop her if it comes down to us fighting her.

Agreed. I can't speak for the upstairs team, but the infiltration team is pretty wiped out. If nothing else, we need time to recharge our magic.

...that's huge. If nothing else, it gives us a chance to knock her unconscious. That's worked before.

We are wiped out as well. We might not be injured, but being too exhausted to move is not much better. I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of sleeping going on all around for a while.

[A curious look enters his eyes.]

She's been knocked out before? When did that happen? I'm guessing this was before I came...

...goes to show how tired I am. I meant me, when I've gotten into situations when I'm out of control. It worked on Naoya-san downstairs just now, too. Riki's got some kind of gas that allows him to control other people's powers. We knocked him out and that's helped it for now.

Ah...that makes more sense. Don't worry about it, though. We are both tired and so it is understandable.

[Diarmuid reaches out to give her shoulder a gentle squeeze.]
