Another strange world, but this time not as filled with human corpses as the other. Grainne picked her way around the strange castle, looking for whoever it was that belonged to this world. Even without the damage the Tower had done to this place, it didn't seem like it had been a happy place.

Grainne called out from time to time, hoping that it would help in locating the missing companion, when she finally found the throne room, and then the figure standing outside.

"Are you there?"

Got room for more in here?

Enoch wasn't quite sure what to expect when he and Lucifel had gone through this portal. To come out not too far behind someone they hadn't even come in with wasn't it though. They caught up to Grainne and Hilda not long after she'd called for her, though Enoch didn't offer anything else, only giving the women a nod in greeting if their footsteps caught her attention, or if the light of their souls in this dark world did the same.

((same as all the others, just saying this here to be safe, but don't worry about waiting on Lucifel unless he's been directly addressed, his player is busy and may not be available for regular tagging, so his presence is handwaved.))

Always got room for more

Hilda nearly didn't react at first. There were no souls left alive in this world aside from her, and there would be no reasons for anyone from the tower to be in this desolate world. It was hers, and no one else's. That, and a part of her didn't want anyone to see the sad imitation of a kingdom she was ruling over. But slowly she turned around.

"Grainne...?" She paused, it was her voice and her likeness she could see through that body, but... She then looked at Enoch and Lucifel who had caught up with Grainne. "What are you all doing here?"

"Something has happened, and it seems the child is helping us." Grainne answered, a bit hesitant because she is hardly one to guess when she still knows so little. "We are here to rescue you."

"Traveling seems to give us strength," Enoch added, with a glance down at the more solid projection of his soul within the wireframe. "Zo may be helping us gather and prepare ourselves."

The child again... She knew nothing more than Grainne on the matter, but the last time the child had intervened in their affairs, they had found themselves on a trek beyond the limits of the tower. Not a pleasant memory. And besides...

"Rescue me? Prepare ourselves? What for?" She abruptly asked. "To defend ruins like these? I hardly see a point."

Enoch steps closer, now that they've been acknowledged. "If all goes well, they won't be ruins anymore. That's what for - our freedom and the lives around us."

"At the least, we can have our revenge on the monster that brought us to this." The Caster knew there were so many things she had missed out on with her late arrival, as Hilda had. Enoch's words were good, but she didn't know enough to try the same appeal.

"She who has taken our lives and our homes and doomed us." Grainne looked at the body Hilda stood next to, her face falling. So she had someone important, as well...
