Sheena's still dusting most of that desert off when he approaches, coughing at the cloud that arises from her efforts. Sighing, she gives up and looks around, her hand still making an occasional idle swipe at the dirt.

"Auldrant? I've heard that name before." Perhaps from a certain sarcastic long-haired man she had met in the Tower. Glancing around, she takes in more of the scenery before turning back to him. "Do you know this place, Luke? Is this your home?"

"Yeah, it's my home world. I don't live in the desert, I'm from a city, uh..."

He starts to point in a particular direction, but he can't remember exactly what direction Baticul is in relation to the desert, and the distant mountains surrounding the desert don't provide any decent reference point.

"...That way, I think. Anyway, it didn't used to be this bad. This purple stuff isn't supposed to be here and it's all dead, and...hey, how'd you get here?"

Sheena looks in the direction he points, her hand automatically coming up to shade her eyes and to focus. Some remaining sand on that hand falls, causing her to cough slightly before she turns back to him.

She hadn't seen a city in that direction, but she knew from experience that didn't mean he wasn't telling the truth. Sometimes the desert can get a person lost--even when they think they're walking a straight line.

"The purple stuff?" she looks up. "Maybe it got here the same way I did? Through a flash of light?"
