[Waver had visibly gone tense at the flickering, staring intently at the terminal.]

Somebody cover it--and just in case, keep your voices down.

[Naoya frowns, and takes a step away - and casts a Shield All on the group, just to be safe. Reflecting at least one attack seems like a good idea.]

[After ordering Mac an Chuill to stand down--much to the hound's displeasure--Diarmuid makes his way over to one of the corners where a few of the supplies they brought back from Midgar still sit. He searches for a few moments, careful not to unbalance Romeo's little pet who is sitting on his shoulder--and then pulls something out.]

I thought I remembered seeing this...

[He's not entirely sure why some of the larger medical kits had plastic tarps in them, but he's not going to wonder about it now. Instead, he is going to cross to the terminal and drop the tarp over the top of it. Once he is sure it won't slide off, Diarmuid returns to the group, giving Naoya a nod of thanks for the spell as he does.]

I don't suppose anyone has a spell that will muffle or mute our words outside of a certain radius, do they?

[Shion nodded as Diarmuid covered the machine, it was probably the best idea. He gestured over to the far corner.] Perhaps we should at least move over there, to be as far away as possible.

I have Volumen Hydragyrum, but without real mercury I'd call it next to fucking useless. For now, Shion's probably got the right idea.

Can it be moved? We could just toss it outside.

I'm not sure, they usually can't be. We could try...

[He frowned, really he thought they should just move away and continue. It was quite obviously a trick of Ruana's, probably to distract them. Just like the battle was their distraction for her.]

For the moment, I think moving away and keeping our voices down may be enough. We don't want to waste anymore time than necessary on it, since I am guessing it is meant to distract us and we have far too much left to figure out to be distracted now.

[Diarmuid glares at the terminal and then moves over to the other side of the room, motioning for the others to follow.]

If it does something else--like giving us a real picture, attacking somehow or making noise, then we can see about removing it or taking some other course of action. For now, lets get back to what we were discussing.
