I am hoping that Dragon is at least a little like Xion's Dream Eater? *Is not sure.*

[Diarmuid holds his hand out to the dragon so it can sniff it if it so desires. Now that he can see it a little more clearly, it does remind him of the creature Xion had with her on the hidden floor the night before everyone went to get the machine. Well, they are likely from the same world. He guesses it makes sense.]

Exactly and just because she is busy fighting you guys doesn't mean she wouldn't have the ability to direct some kind of attack down here too. The last thing we want to do is underestimate what she can do given all the powers she has taken in.

Do me a favor and make sure everyone keeps their eyes on each other. It's going to be easy to get too caught up in fighting her and that might be a fatal mistake.

[Tunnel vision in a fight is never good...]

Yes indeed :) Just much bigger

[Sniffing permission? Ooh, then skitters just a little bit closer, inspecting Diarmuid for a moment before giving a friendly headbutt.

Riku just shudders, suddenly reminded that Riki's skill set could certainly make that possible.]

I'll see what I can do. I just hope there's a way to distract her-- as long as we can keep her occupied, that oughta buy Zo enough time to at least weaken her a little.

Excellent! Thank you. :-)

[Despite the serious conversation, Diarmuid can't help but laugh softly at the headbutt. He then reaches out to give the dragon a pat.]

Well, hello to you too. It's nice to meet you.

[After that, he turns back to Riku, his smile fading into something much more determined.]

I know you guys will be able to come up with something. There is strength in numbers and she is alone. It doesn't matter now many powers she has stolen from others. In the end, all she has is herself and no matter now powerful she is, eventually she will make a mistake.

If you notice someone being reckless, though, it might be a good idea to have someone remind them that anyone who dies...is pretty much handing her another power to use against the rest.

[Because Diarmuid has no doubt that she will take in any power that is available for this fight, if for no other reason than the physiological pain and distress it will cause those fighting her to see her treat their fallen friends just like she did Dax and the others.]

[As soon as Diarmuid pats the dragon, its body bursts into bright, colorful sparkles. Yes, this dragon glitters when you touch it. Don't let that distract from the seriousness of the situation.

Surprisingly, or maybe not so surprisingly, Riku remains calm in spite of the sparkles. He nods and raises one of his fists, his expression firm.]

Right. We aren't getting second chances, so we need to make sure we keep our heads on straight. Guess it's just a matter of some of us distracting her while others shoot for an attack.

[Diarmuid is a little less easily able to ignore the sparkles and can't help but ask...]

Is...he suppose to do that?

[He just wants to make sure he hasn't hurt Riku's pet, okay? But, at least he is not distracted long...]

Actually, let your attack be the distraction. There are going to be so many of you with so many different types of abilities. As long as people keep trading out and changing the kind of attack, she will be forced to keep changing her reactions to deal with it. There is little time for anything else when you are being hit by five different kinds of attacks at once.

Well, he's been doing it for more than a year. I'd just call it a quirk.

[To emphasize this, he gives his dragon a scratch below the chin, prompting another flurry of sparkles.

Well, with that cleared up, he'll focus on more urgent matters.]

So, basically, we should stagger our attacks. Sounds easy enough in theory-- we just gotta hope that she isn'[t smart enough to catch on.

[Diarmuid nods, a look of relief in his eyes. When he realizes there is nothing wrong with the dragon sparkling like that, he gives it another pat and then speaks.]

Taking turns, attacking in teams. As long as you stagger and keep changing how you do things, it will make it harder for her to know how to react. If you don't let yourself fall into patterns, there should be very little chance of her being able to predict what you are doing. She might realize your tactic, but knowing what your enemy is doing and being able to predict which spells will come this time are two different things. It's going to be very handy that some of you can use so many different kinds of spells now.
