Every day's great at your... Animus?
Characters: Yosuke Hanamura and YOU! Yes, YOU!
Setting: Room 2-14 and Floor 14
Format: Action is vastly preferred, but I'll prose if you want. Just be warned - prose tags take me a lot longer.
Summary: Yosuke arrives! Derping ensues.
Warnings: Swearing!
Room 2-14
[Yosuke's never been quick to wake up - unless it's someone waking him up in the middle of class. Laying in bed an extra few minutes is normal. What's not normal is the bed, the room, or anything about this place. And then panic ensues! What we end up with is one Yosuke trying his best to keep calm as he takes in these strange surroundings in a slight panic]
What the hell?! Who's idea of a joke is this!
Floor 14
[Yosuke - now dressed in his usual threads, headphones around his neck, has found his way to the entertainment room. He doesn't feel particularly jolly though, and rather than enjoy the entertainment he's sprawled on a couch, looking up and contemplating the last few hours of his life]

Actually, my knife skills are all self taught, so I'm sure I could be way better than I am. My real strength comes from my Persona. It's... sort of a part of me I can use for magic and stuff.

[And then, with a playful grin]
Still, I suppose I should be careful not to get on your bad side. I don't think I want to test out this immortality thing just yet.

I'm the last person you need to worry about. I try not to pick fights with cute girls.
So, you're immortal? I bet there's a good story behind that.
no subject
You think I'm cute?
[And then the playful grin returns]
Well, yes. I suppose you could say I'm sort-of a God myself. So if I'm killed, unless it's heroic or just, I just...don't stay dead.
no subject
Well you're a little young for me I think, but you'll make someone happy someday. Or maybe you're just a heart breaker.
And those... are pretty specific rules to god-dom. Who'd have a just reason to try and kill you?
no subject
Well, I don't know about that. But then, my quadrants are somewhat confused right now anyway.
[And shrug]
Well, me personally I wouldn't think anyone would...at least, I haven't done anything to deserve death. But anyone can become God Tier, provided they meet the conditions, so I suppose it's to stop the wrong people from getting too out of hand.

Actually, can you explain that game you were talking about? I'm not sure I completely get it.
no subject
Well, okay. I'll try to be as clear as I can, but there's a lot I still don't understand.
The game is called SGRUB. I found the code for it while exploring a frog temple on my home planet, Alternia, and a friend of mine helped translate it into something playable. Unfortunately, what we didn't know was that playing the game would lead to Alternia being destroyed and that we would have to beat it to make somewhere new to live.
To do that, we had to complete a procedure that would let us enter the game world, where one player would manipulate their client player's world to let them enter before their server player did the same for them and so on. We thought we would be playing as two separate teams of six but in fact we all ended up in the same session.
Once in the game world, we were given our own worlds and our own roles that would determine what abilities we would gain to help us beat the game. For example, I became the Maid of Time so I can manipulate the timestream, at least to a degree. Anyway, long story short we managed to defeat the final boss...just about. I mean, he was prototyped with a lusus that could have wiped all but one of us out if I hadn't been able to create enough clones to subdue that power. And that's where we were supposed to claim our new world.

[When she finishes, he doesn't even know what to say]
I... that... holy...
That's incredible...
no subject
I've never played anything like it before...of course, I was never really one for video games anyway.
no subject
So what made you interested in the one you found?
no subject
I've been able to hear the voices of the dead since I was very young. They guided me to the temple in the first place and made it clear that the code was important. Though it was Sollux who figured out it was gaming code.
no subject
Hold on, back up a second. You hear dead people? Just... all the time?

Totally wrong on that one.

It's okay. I'm a troll.
no subject
But- ... you're cute. Aren't trolls supposed to be big and green and have giant clubs?
no subject
Oh...you humans have quite the imaginations. But I'm quite sure a troll is what I am and I assure you I'm not very different from other trolls from my world.
no subject
Okay! I'll take your word for it. Just... not what I expected, at all.
no subject
Well, I'm glad. It would be pretty silly if I didn't know what species I was.
no subject
Are many of your troll friends here too?

Just realised the potential confusion if she ever tells him her surname...
Oh wow XD His life just gets weirder and weirder
Yep. Don't mind admitting I squealed when I made the connection a while back >.>
XD That is a fantastic reason to squeal
I thought so
You thought right!
