Setting: Room 2-14 and Floor 14
Format: Action is vastly preferred, but I'll prose if you want. Just be warned - prose tags take me a lot longer.
Summary: Yosuke arrives! Derping ensues.

Room 2-14

[Yosuke's never been quick to wake up - unless it's someone waking him up in the middle of class. Laying in bed an extra few minutes is normal. What's not normal is the bed, the room, or anything about this place. And then panic ensues! What we end up with is one Yosuke trying his best to keep calm as he takes in these strange surroundings in a slight panic]

What the hell?! Who's idea of a joke is this!

Floor 14

[Yosuke - now dressed in his usual threads, headphones around his neck, has found his way to the entertainment room. He doesn't feel particularly jolly though, and rather than enjoy the entertainment he's sprawled on a couch, looking up and contemplating the last few hours of his life]

[He turns his head - and for likely the first time that day Yosuke manages a smile, if only a small one]

Naoto? Please tell me that's really you. I can't take many more bad surprises today.

Of course it's me, don't be foolish.

[and for the first time in quite awhile Naoto manages one of her own. She was alone at Sphere and for the past couple of days she'd been alone here, too. It was a relief to see Yosuke here -- he wasn't... he wasn't gone.]

[There's a big part of him that wants to give her a hug for purely selfish reasons - because there's actually something from his world left to hold onto, because he isn't alone. Emotional exhaustion wins though, and he merely shifts on the couch to give her a place to sit]

Is... is it just us? Only you and me?

[Hope you left room on that couch, because Tatsuki's gonna just plop herself down on the other end of it whether you did or not. She's also got her own set of earbuds (http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/6834/4030336sb.jpg) hooked to the neckline of her t-shirt, if he wants something to change the subject to. Perhaps they could compare notes.]

[The way she says it is almost so casual that he can't help but laugh. There's more or less enough room for the two of them, though with his careless sprawling they might be closer than normal for two strangers]

Is it that obvious? I guess everyone must have that look on their first day.

[She smiles back. He'd have no way of knowing it, but it was the first time she'd smiled since she'd been here.]

[Vietnam was about to rest by watching mindless television, when she spots the young man. He appears to be deep in thought. At first, Vietnam thought against approaching him, but if he needed something, it would be rude not to offer.]

[And just like that he's snapped out of his thoughts, becoming flustered as he shifts on the couch]

Sorry, was I in your spot? I can move! I don't want to step on anyone's toes on my first day.

[She quickly raises her hands!] No no, it's fine, I was just wondering if you needed anything. All these couches are for everyone's use anyway, so please, relax and take your time.

Floor 14

[Aradia's explorations have finally brought her to the 14th floor and wow, she has never seen this much equipment anywhere that isn't the meteor lab.

It takes her a moment to notice the human sprawled on the couch. When she does she wanders over, dragging over one of the beanbags to sit on]

Are you okay?

[The concern for him from strangers is actually pretty touching, and it's that thought that lets him manage another weak smile]

I just got here today. Everything's sort of a shock right now, and hell if I know how to handle it.

I can understand that. I'm still new myself, although some have said I've been here before. I think it's okay to not know how to feel about it all...not that you need my permission for that.

[ Have an elf just passing through, and--yeah okay what. Why is this person decked out in sword, shield, bow and arrows?

Really.

Also, pointy ears, the whole deal. Tunic, tights, boots, gloves. It's kind of overly elaborate for a cosplay. Link is kind enough to stop and say hi, though! Well... sort of. Hero or no hero, being social? It's just not what they're good at. And usually, people expect things in return, but... maybe the conversation will carry on it's own. For now, Yosuke will be quietly watched for a bit. ]

MY LIFE. IT IS COMPLETE. ... MORE SO!

[Through the self pity and the contemplation, there's not a hell of a lot that could grab Yosuke's attention]

[An elf decked out in battle gear? That'll do it]

[He doesn't pay the newcomer much mind at first, until he notices himself being watched. Rather than take it creepily however, Yosuke's somewhat touched - as far as he's concerned it's probably just another person worrying about this distressed-looking newcomer. So he manages a wave at Link]

If you're worried, I'm okay. Just still adjusting to the whole my-home-might-be-gone thing.

Now we just need a Kanji

[ Actually, she was kind of concerned, but she's pretty bad at the whole emotions and socialization thing like a detective you might know. If Link is bothered by the heavy amount of armor, she's not showing it; she must be very used to carrying it all over with her. ]

... I see.

[ Pausing. Ah... what does she say? ]

For what small amount it is worth... there have been cases of one's friends arriving after them.

[ Link is a fighter, but she's also pretty quick. If her theory is right, that means their worlds can't be gone. ]

[Shion is looking around the room in confusion. It didn't seem to fit, this room with the others so far as he had made his way down the tower from the dorms. He had seen the computers dotted about, and had went on one to see what was on them but this was different. There were machines he didn't recognise and he picked up the boxes of CDs to look at them, they seemed to be films... but stories? At least from reading the boxes they didn't seem educational.

He saw the boy lying on the couch and smiled in greeting] Hello! [He should get to know the others that had been brought here with him]

[Oh hey, another guy! He seems friendly enough, so Yosuke smiles as best he can and gives a wave. Best to make a good first impression on the new... well, not quite neighbors, but new somethings]

[Don't mind Yosuke, he's only having a mild panic attack at the strange surroundings. Hearing someone else he turns to the door, unsure of whether to be wary or relieved]
