Format: Action to start, but I'll follow.
Summary: Karkat has been awfully quiet lately, and hasn't quiet been seeking out others. How unusual.
Warnings: TBA

[Karkat has just had too many things on his mind. Staying out of trouble, trying not to make more people furious with him, dodging mealtimes to instead feed Spidermom. The attack on the tower had sated her slightly, but it hadn't helped his psyche any. The visions of Imperial Drones on top of more copies of Spidermom were a little too much for him.

He was still sick to his nutrition sack over the whole thing. If those drones had been real, then he would have been leaving Kanaya to them. What kind of shitty friend was he?

Oh wait. That kind of answered the question. So wherever he happens to be, Karkat will be propped against a wall, staring down at his shoes with an everpresent frown of thought.]

[He's just...going to quietly try and pull out of her grip again. Though this time, there's no anger in his tugging, nor is there an indignant way about him.

He's embarrassed, and for once, he's not doing a great job of hiding it.]

[GOD WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE A CAGEY DOUCHE ALL THE TIME. So she lets go, but if he leaves she's legitimately never going to talk to him again.]

[He keeps walking like he's making for the door, by he stops at the next nearest couch instead and stands there for a few moments, just leaning against it.

Finally, after a few beats of silence:]

I'm not trying to treat you like anything.

[She's not sure if that makes it better or worse.]

It doesn't matter if you're trying. You are, stupid.

[He turns to look at her over his shoulder, silently asking what in the precious fuck she would like him to do about it.

After a moment of staring, something seems to crack. Actually, his voice cracks a little too -- out of frustration.]

Look. I can't fix anything, I don't know how many more apologies I have in me, and I'm really fucking disinterested in discussing what may or may not be melting my sponge to grubsauce.

You could act like we're actually friends, for a start.

[Not that she's... Been doing that. But Terezi isn't exactly unbiased.]

I don't treat you any differently than--

[Oh, that's probably not a good thing to say. Whatever, now he has to finish the statement, or she's going to get mad again. This is getting a little deeper in the Admittance column than he wanted, but if he's honest, its not like everyone didn't already draw conclusions themselves anyway.]

--than Kanaya or anyone else I actually give a shit about.

[Oh. She crosses her arms, frowning.]

You have some making up to do with me, though!

[He turns away from her again and lifts his hands behind his head to try and make himself more comfortable.]

My methods are apparently filed under "shit that makes Terezi even more furious".

Shouldn't it be obvious what makes me furious, Mr. Hero of Heart?

[Uggggh. She just frowns at him.]

[And he deadeyes her in return.]

I've kind of had a rough month, alright?

Butttt she makes her way over to the couch and plops down.]

What happened?

[He shakes his head.]

Last month was just a lot to process, I guess.

[His eyelids lower in an exhausted fashion. Having to watch yourself and your friends nearly die after being killed by someone who was supposed to be helping you...

It doesn't help that you pretend to be fine all the time when everyone knows you're not.

[He looks back again at her and raises an eyebrow.]
