I love the way you call it art
Characters: OU Aradia and OPEN
Setting: Art Gallery floor
Format: Starts in action, but will follow either
Summary: Aradia's taking in a little of the tower's version of culture
Warnings: Grim art? But otherwise not much yet.
[Up until now, Aradia hasn't really spent much time perusing the art gallery that appeared when the tower grew a few floors. Today she's decided to rectify that.
And so she wanders aimlessly about the floor, looking at the various artworks on display and lingering in front of those that catch her eye. Probably one of the more morbid ones, but she seems far more fascinated than she does horrified.
Pester her?]

Still, at least an ancestor who maybe might not want to cull her on sight just for existing, which is always a bonus]

He bows low at the waist, glancing up at Aradia.] Milady.
[Formalities aside, he really did miss her.]
no subject
Wait. Obviously not her Sollux since she's pretty sure he'd never address her that way. There was another she knew was in the tower and that would explain why he addressed her as he did]
Oh, um. I'm sorry. I'm not your Aradia...assuming you're Eridan's Sollux, the one from the other timeline I mean.
no subject
Thorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable or anything... I know your anthethtor didn't like it when I did that. But yeah, that'th me, ED's Tholluckth.

[She fidgets with her sleeves, not entirely sure how to be around this different, older, high-blood Sollux. Her Sollux was a known quantity; all she knows of this Sollux is what Eridan's told her...which isn't much]

Today she's walking slowly along what passes for an art gallery in this place, unconsciously imitating her Father's slow, languid steps, and acutely reminded of Sander Cohen and his monstrous art. He would like it here, Eleanor thinks. They'd probably appreciate his art than they did back home. The clank of her boots announces her presence, purposely. Thus far she hasn't encountered a good reason to make the full extent of her abilities known, and considering she doesn't exactly look... welcoming in the suit, it's better to offer some kind of warning.
And then of course, she runs into another fascinating creature, with horns and wings this time. Much smaller than the other horned one she met before, but still. She looks fascinating. Eleanor cocks her head to the side.]
...hello?
no subject
Now she offers a wary smile, not entirely sure what she's facing but not wanting to seem presumptuous.]
Um...hi?
no subject
I'm sorry to be rude, but are you a friend of... of the Grand Highblood? You look vaguely like him.
no subject
No, no...well I mean, I am a troll if that's what you mean but I wouldn't say we were friends...I've never even run into him and I'm glad I haven't. One run-in with an adult highblood is quite enough, thanks.

When she saw a young troll looking as well, she moved with curiosity to see what had her attention. She almost wished she hadn't. ]
Oh, well that's positively ghastly!
no subject
Yes, I suppose it is...Still, it's beautiful in its way.
