[Sitting alone at one of the tables in the cafeteria, a grown man is folding a piece of paper. The entire table he is sitting at is covered with identical sheets of paper.

What on earth is he doing?]

Well. They're to help me think and to look cool.

But mostly just to look cool.

[Oh god, he so hopes not.]

'Course not. That'd just be silly. I only plan on wearing one, at a time that is. Maybe I'll switch 'em out. Bit a variety. Change. Very healthy.

[He finishes a hat and holds it out. It's blue and very dashing. Robin Hood style. So chivalrous.]

[He takes the hat. DAMN IT MANNERS.]

[But he doesn't put it on like a ~normal~ person. Instead, he kind of inspects it, trying not to let too much 'WTF' show on his face.]

[What. Is that an insult? He's taking that as an insult. There's no way to tell with this guy.]

[And he puts it on, still looking distinctly unimpressed with the Doctor. The fact that "WHAT THE HELL. WHAT ARE YOU DOING WEARING A PAPER HAT" is not lost on him, mind you. As a matter of fact his mind is telling him that right now. But he kind of doesn't care right now because he's not stupid, he just doesn't own a hat.]

That's good. I wouldn't want anyone to be unable to wear a hat. Brilliant things, hats. They can make one look so much cooler than you'd think possible. An impressive feat. I do wish River would stop shooting mine. Thinks she's so hot with her "hello, sweetie" and "it wouldn't make that noise if you turned the parking breaks off." She's just jealous that my TARDIS only makes that noise for me.

[Over the course of the Doctor's charming monologue, Ienzo has miraculously regained control of his face (which means, he is back to being a stoic little herpaderp), and has also taken off the hat and set it on the table in front of him. Really. He... does not like that hat. Or any hat for that matter.]

...i see. [And he does. He caught all of that. As a matter of fact, he's more interested in the concept of a machine which can somehow invoke magical properties -- because obviously temporal magic would be what moves it through time. Right?]

[Well. This Doctor fellow is a very interesting individual.]

[He raises an eyebrow, and goes back to hat making.

[He then commences eyeing the assorted colors and patterns of paper (as well as the hat offered to him a short time ago). As can be expected, he has zero paper hat making skill so obviously he can't do anything with them, but...]
