ITP: Night Watch Log [Aaaand free to tag now!]

Characters: Tara, Minami, Sephiroth, Zack, Cloud, Terui, Suzaku, Fran, Hei, and Xehanort. Guest starring Momotaros.
Setting: Various floors throughout the Tower
Format: Whatever the comments feel like in the subthreads
Summary: A snapshot of the patrols during the night
Warnings: None yet, but they will be added as it comes up.

---

OOC: For now characters are divided into pairs for easy tagging. Your characters don't have to stay on the floors they're assigned, but the threads only need to start out there. As for if encounters are made, that is entirely up to you guys. The point is to get some CR and have some fun together, that's all.

You can also encounter Momotaros during the night specifically to be confused for a monster. There will be a subthread for this set up.

Groups and floors, as decided by the Random Number Gods:
1). Fran and Hei; Floor 24
2). Suzaku and Sephiroth; Floor 16
3). Minami and Zack; Floor 32
4). Tara and Terui; Floor 26
5). Cloud and Xehanort; Floor 10
6). Encountering Momotaros
OOC questions, complaints, crit, and comments about this can be directed to THIS FAQ I set up for the Night Watch. Let me know any feedback so I can improve the way things run for next month.

Hei certainly felt the power of the magic flow within him, actually a bit surprised. His body definitely felt like he could endure a few good blows. Naturally, he didn't plan on being invincible; his fighting style did require him to dodge and move quickly after all, and having invincibility would just make him less cautious.

He doesn't hear anything in here either. He nods at Fran. "Doesn't seem like we have much of a choice for now."

They had a choice, she thought, to stay or to leave, but to stay seemed a waste of their purpose.

There was always a choice.

"We descend," she says, trusting Hei to speak his complaints, if present. Gun in hand, she turns to the staircase.

As they walk down from twenty-four to, supposedly, twenty-three, Fran decides to engage in conversation. It is unwise to be ready for battle when the abilities of one's partner were currently unknown, and his weapons, if any, were not visible to her.

"I presume you are a hume. A 'human', she said. What is it that you do?"

Yes, always a choice, and one of their options was wasteful. There was nothing at all in this room, and if there were traps, they should have been triggered by now. Wasting time was not considered an option in his book. And he certainly had no complaints, and walks by her side to the next floor. He may have had no visible weapons, but that was because the wires and knives were hidden underneath that coat.

"Survive, not much else," he replied simply. Was the truth. Assassin was no longer valid because he no longer did such jobs. "If you mean here, looking for information. What about you?"

Out of everyone, her appearance didn't really startle him that much. Honestly, she was one of the more normal beings here.
