[Back in the large crowd, Kidou noticed his friend Sakuma be taken to a different pod, and he even tried to follow, but just as he had suspected, he could only go with those who shared his color. When he is let into his pod, he starts inspecting the whole place, surprised that it wasn't as bad as he was expecting.

Now that he's looked at just about everything, he decides it would be good to get to know those who shared this space with him. So, you will most likely have a goggle wearing boy walk up to you and tap on your shoulder.]

Excuse me.

[So here's a kid about your age, Kidou, who has the same idea as you do; he's looking around, even though everything seems to be for the most part the same. He doesn't actually... know this guy with the freaky goggles, but you know what, whatever.]

What's up?

[Kidou offers a smile, glad that John didn't ignore him or walk away.]

My name is Kidou Yuuto, I don't believe we have met before.

[windykind]

No, I'd definitely remember if we did. [He smiles. Was that a jab at your... questionable fashion sense, Kidou? Yes, yes it was. Still, he's taking it as a joke.] I'm John, John Egbert.

It's a pleasure to meet you, John.

[He doesn't take notice at the jab at his ~completely flawless fashion sense~ and holds a hand out for John to shake.]

You too, Kidou! [Shakeshakeshake. He wishes he had a hand buzzer to greet this guy with, but unfortunately, in these trying times he does not. So John settles for a nice, normal handshake. Sigh.]

So, do you know anything about what's going on? Like, what were they talking about with the tower controllers and everything?

[pengeen]

I know just as much as you do. The three tower controllers are having a contest to see who is more fit to run the tower and they're using us to decide, somehow.

[windykind]

Oh, that's great. [HEY, he looked smart, okay.]

...So... what do we do? [He scans the room again, frowning thoughtfully.] Just look around?

[pengeen]

It seems like that's all we can do.

[windykind]

Then let's get going. [And he's smiling like a derpface again.] It looks pretty much like the Tower, but you never know with these guys.

[pengeen]

[He offers a smile back] That is true. There could be traps lying around, for all we know.

[windykind]

Exactly. Which is why we need to defuse them all. And if there's any on the ground... [John pulls up a bit of wind under himself and Kidou, sending them both floating into the air. Instead of looking for bombs or anything, though, he's watching the other kid, to see his reaction.]

[pengeen]

Eh?

[Yeah don't mind him just freaking out over suddenly floating.]

Why are we levitating?

'Cause if we fly everywhere, we're less likely to set off alarms.

[Still beaming at Kidou. The reaction was a little more dulled than he would have liked, but it's still funny to watch.]

With the Windy Thing, of course. [And he flicks his wrists slightly, sending Kidou a few feet to the left.]

Okay that's true ;o;

[Okay yeah that gets Kidou to flail a little bit. He's not used to this flying thing okay]

C-can you please refrain from doing that?

Oh, sure. [He sets Kidou on the ground.] I thought it would be helpful.

I appreciate you trying to help but I think I'll be fine. If there are traps on the floor, I would rather find them myself then let someone else find them.

But wouldn't you rather defuse them so that no one gets hurt?

[pengeen]

You can't defuse them if you don't know where they are, though.

[windykind]

And if you're floating, then you can look around for them without worrying about disturbing them! [SEE KIODU, HE IS SO SMART.]

What if they're the kind that appear once you've stepped on a tile? Those won't be able to be seen without triggering them.
