[There so little time and so much to do. Now's the time to spring into action!

((OOC - Set up evacuation logs, rescue attempts, etc. If you can, make sure you mark down the time of when a specific thread is happening due to the events unfolding.


UPDATES:
August 13, 1:40PM EST - All superhuman powers nearly nullified; technologically based powers halved in power. Monsters currently flooding upper levels, lowest levels not yet entirely infested.

August 14, 3:45AM EST - Powers return, but are unstable; they flicker in and out and the strength varies wildly. It's hard to tell if you'll get a full-strength blast or next to nothing.

August 14, 12:20PM EST - The Tower has been completely swarmed with monsters down to the Eighteenth floor. Powers are more stable now, although there may be occasional flickering of ability.

The monsters are tearing up floor thirty-three, ruining the farmland and anything growing on it. The monsters are smashing everything in floor twenty-seven, which makes for a lot of broken glass and mixing chemicals that probably shouldn't be so carelessly combined.

August 15, 9:10PM - Powers have returned reliably, though the actual power is now a bit unstable, with the lights prone to flickering. Anyone who has died will now begin to revive in the infirmary, which is guarded by a swarm of retrieval units. This is the first time the actual returning process can be seen--one retrieval unit appears from a cramped elevator and deposits the unconscious, previously dead person on one of the beds. They revive soon after, with the appropriate amount of sleep paralysis.

The monsters have swarmed down to floor five. They are ruining everything in the workshop not bolted down and some things that are. CDs, DVDs, and televisions are being smashed in the media room.

[Welp, He'd love to get moving right now Tiger, but his legs kind of caught under debris.]

I could use some help! [He's just trying to lift a beam off his leg right now.]

I just need some wiggle room!

Cross? Hold on!

[Kotetsu rushes to the boy's side and manages to lift the beam with the need to activate his power. Except for the fact that he intended to use it. Lifting it took more than he expected.]

Huh..

Okay! That's good!

[Sliding his leg out he gets up.]

There's no one else in this room, so we should probably hurry and find if there's anyone else on this floor.

[Kotetsu nods, though the fact that his powers aren't activating worries him. He can't remember using them recently, so they should be all charged up and ready to go. He's fortunate Cross can't see his face at the moment.]

Right. I've checked that half of the hallway. Let's finish this side and keep going! I won't let you get hurt anymore.

[That's his job]

Right, can't leave anyone behind. And hey, don't worry about me! I can fight! I was just...kind of taken by surprise.

[Pulling out some throwing knives he pokes his head a little outside in the hallway. Turning the visor on he's looking for any vital signs of monsters.]

Okay, it's clear right now, Mr.Tiger.

We should both get downstairs then. Even though I really don't like that staircase, heh...

[And So, Cross runs out into the hallway towards the stair case. Better keep up old man.]

Kotetsu rushes after him, the desire to protect his fellow captives driving him.]

Earthquakes shouldn't last this long!

I don't think it's really an earthquake! Because, where did all these monsters come from if it was. And why is it all bloody around here?

[Hey, Cross can notice the obvious sometimes.]

[Thinking is not Kotetsu's strong point. He prefers action first, questions later in his approach.]
