[02] || [Ghoul Powder] || [Open/Closed]
Characters: Kidou, Mami (BoF), Ryuunosuke, Reno [AU], Momotaros, David Lalonde [AU], Kairi [AU], Elena, Allen [AU] and YOU.
Setting: Cafeteria as a start, then around the floors.
Format: Action
Summary: Lezard picked at random a few test subjects, it's to say the nine characters mentioned above. Only to see if his potion that transforms people into demons works in the tower. And it does work! Party time? You can meet them while they are under the potion's effect.
Warnings: Good people growing stronger, getting more resistant and going totally mad/feral. Or even worse, turning into full-fledged blood-thirsty demoniac creatures. Lots of pain before, during and after the transformation. Deadly random encounters if you happen to meet them. Heart-wrenching mercy kills. Aside from that? Nothing really.
OOC Information
Lezard will barely appear in this log, only to provide his potion to the victims. He will disappear immediately afterward and his involvement in this horror will remain secret. The nine characters are going to drink Ghoul Powder; a special potion used by Necromancers. It drives those who drink it crazy and turn them into either a Demon or an Undead. There are no known cure to Ghoul Powder, hence the only way for characters to be released from the potion's effect is for them to die. Because it's mostly a pre-plotted log, the threads where the characters are meant to die will be closed; but the threads where you can have a random encounter with the demon-ified / undead-ified characters will be open.
Characters under Ghoul Powder's effect are much stronger than usual, much more resistant and merciless for the most part. The threads where they transform, the players will chose whether to keep them open or closed.
There are two kinds of transformation that will happen in this log, the Demon Transformation and the Undead Transformation as mentioned before. Demon Transformation is the worse by far as the characters not only go mad but turns intoa true, complete demons as shown here. Undead Transformation has the same effect, but the characters can keep their normal form as shown here.
How it works: Basically, right after drinking it the characters will feel very uncomfortable and painful for both version of the potion. The pain will keep growing for a couple minutes inside of them, up to the point it is unbearable. They can also feel like something demonic/evil is growing inside of them and taking over, so to say. The pain remains but becomes barely noticeable once the potion takes full effects, since the characters go mad/feral/etc. They become a lot stronger and more resistant to attacks. And of course, they attack whoever they happen to see.
A few seconds before dying, they may regain their sanity and/or human appearance. Like, to say thank you to the one(s) who killed them.

Which only makes his eyes widen a bit with satisfaction. He was so strong all of a sudden, what kind of damage could he do with his newfound strength?]
no subject
He doesn't like this at all.]
What's wrong? You're acting weird.
no subject
Heheh....
[His laughter starts out as small, chuckles. And his grip on Sakuma's wrist wasn't loosening. In fact, it was tightening, until he gets a satisfying crack. As the bones in Sakuma's wrist shatter under his grip, his laughter was filling the room, escalating to a mocking cackle.
Ah, bones snapping was such a nice sound, wasn't it?]
no subject
There's something wrong. This isn't Kidou.]
no subject
Pathetic.
[This guy was as easy to break as glass.]
no subject
Something's gone wrong and he has to fix it somehow. He can worry about himself later. The pathetic comment does hit him hard though and it causes him to stand there, staring at Kidou, unsure of what to do.]
no subject
Giving Sakuma only a moments break, he lunges himself at the other, grabbing him by the shoulders and pushing him down into the table behind him.]
no subject
Hey, snap out of it.
[There's a waver in his voice as he speaks.]
no subject
He grabs Sakuma's wrists and pins them to the table, making sure to put more weight on the one already broken. And he leans in close enough where Sakuma could look straight into his dilated pupils. Enough to see that crazed, maniacal look in his eyes. No, this definitely isn't the captain Sakuma once knew.
Or... was he?]
no subject
Somehow during his struggling, he comes to the conclusion that somehow the tower has something to do with this. The sudden anger he feels for this wretched place finally gives him the extra strength to throw Kidou off.]
no subject
He's back to his feet again and charging at the other, with the intent of grabbing Sakuma's head and smashing against the table. Though, as he throws an arm towards the other, something about the look in Sakuma's eye, the anger in Sakuma's eye, brings him to his senses for a moment. Long enough to make him stop in his tracks and back away. The expression he bore was now much like a scared child's.]
S-Sakuma..?
[His eyes were quavering, along with his body. It was as if everything about him was unstable, and who knew when he'd snap again.]
no subject
Are you-- What's wrong; you're freaking me out.
[Sakuma returns to clutching at his left wrist, holding it tightly with his right hand in an effort to reduce the pain.]
omg i'm sorry this took so long i had to choose a good icon LMFAO
I don't know, but if things get out of hand... [He closes his eyes for a moment, trying to keep himself calm. He was starting to feel distant again, like he was sinking, being repressed.]
Kill me. [If this really was something the Tower had a hand in, the best way for it to stop, Kidou figures, is to be killed. Hopefully then, he'll wake up normal again.]
[And now, it was starting to be a bit obvious that he was about to snap again; His body was twitching a bit and it looked like he was having a hard time keeping still.]
bcos icons are srs bzns
[Killing Kidou... That's not even something he can bear to think about not to mention actually doing it. He's shakes his head slowly, rejecting the suggestion. No, there has to be another way.]
L-let's get you up to the infirmary, okay? Maybe something there can help.
[It almost sounds like he's pleading-- and maybe he is. He's desperate now to come up with an alternative but the pain in his wrist is distracting and the worry he feels is consuming.]
they are speaking of icons aww ours matched how kawaii
Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, it all stops.
He finally calms down and stays motionless for a minute. The only thing moving was the rise and fall of his chest as he takes deep breaths. It stays like this for 2 minutes at most, before he snaps his head back up to look at Sakuma.
A small, almost malicious smile spreads across his face.]
bcos that mv stomped on feelings too. it was perfect
Ki...dou?
[He hesitates, unable to decide for sure whether he should approach or run to get help. So instead he stands there and watches Kidou breath, hoping against all odds that nothing worse will happen. That his friend will be returned to him.
It's futile though because when Kidou looks up again Sakuma can tell immediately that he's lost control once again. Knowing he can't face him like this, Sakuma immediately turns around to make an escape despite how painful that decision was.]
everything is kanpeki and it all hurts
And once he's close enough, he grabs Sakuma's arm and without really thinking, throws him into the kitchen. He walks after almost nonchalantly, like he's not worried about losing. He's kind of got Sakuma cornered, after all. There's only one entrance to the kitchen, and Kidou was standing in the way of it.
Now how should Sakuma be taken care of...]
no subject
Why is this happening? He just wants it to stop, wants to have his friend back, wants to be home where everything isn't absolute shit.]
no subject
By help I mean he's walking over and grabbing the collar of Sakuma's shirt to lift him off the ground slightly. Man, how sad this thing looked. Perhaps it was time to end it.
He tosses Sakuma to the side carelessly into a table, knocking a knife to the floor. Kidou stares at it for a moment, deciding if he wanted to use it or not but decides against it. It was much more satisfying hurting things when it was with your bare hands, he's come to realize.
He walks over and crouches next to his friend, reaching a hand out to run it over Sakuma's neck. It was kind of easy to guess what he was going to do next.]
no subject
His breath catches in his throat and he makes a whining noise. Frantically, he tries to get onto all fours to crawl away. By this point, he can barely think clearly; everything was confusing, in between his fear and his pain.]
no subject
He walks over after a minute or so and grabs the back of Sakuma's shirt, flipping him onto his back and quickly getting on his knees to pin Sakuma there.
With a sadistic grin on his face, he wraps his hands firmly around the boy's neck and he starts pressing down with his thumbs.]
no subject
Against his will, tears start forming in the corner of his eye.]
no subject
It was the real Kidou trying to get out, trying to stop himself from killing his best friend. Even now the normal light in his eyes was starting to return and tears started stinging his own eyes. As he started slowly gaining control of himself, he notices the knife sitting a few feet away. There really was only one way out of this, and he needed to act quickly, because he knew this was probably the last chance he had.
He's not in full control of himself, but he wills himself to let go of Sakuma's neck with only his left hand. Though his left arm was shaking quite terribly like it was having a hard time moving, he manages to take the knife and put the handle gently into Sakuma's right palm. That seems like just about as much as he can do, because his hand was returning to it's place around Sakuma's neck and he was pressing onto it again.
Though there was that malicious grin on his face again, tears were running down his cheeks and his eyes were pleading, begging Sakuma to take the knife in his hand and kill him right then and there.]
no subject
It's then that he realizes that the reason he's able to breathe again is because Kidou's somehow able to fight past whatever's controlling him. He allows himself to let out a choked sob of relief. For a moment, he allows himself to believe that everything's going to be okay. As long as this is over, as long as he has Kidou back...
But then something is pressed into his hand and a quick glance down tells him that it's a knife and it doesn't take much for him to realize what Kidou intends. Even as he shakes his head 'no', Kidou's hand is returning to its previous place around his neck. He lets the knife sit in his palm but he doesn't dare close his fingers around it. He stares up at Kidou and his crazed expression and the tears that have somehow gotten past his mad state and he feels a heavy pain in his chest as his own tears fall.
He can't kill Kidou but... while he still doesn't care what happens to himself, seeing Kidou's struggle is more than he can bear. No matter what he did, his friend would still be hurting. Maybe it is better to end it now.
His vision starts blurring again from the lack of air and Kidou's face swims before him. Sakuma closes his eye and at the same time finally closes his fingers around the knife's handle. Quickly, before he grew too weak, Sakuma brings the knife up and thrusts it into Kidou's side.]
no subject
His gaze drops to his friend, and he notices small bruises on Sakuma's neck where he had his hands... He also notices Sakuma's eye closed and panic sits in.]
Sakuma? [Even though he was was bleeding badly, he had to know if Sakuma was still alive before he could worry about himself.
