Setting: Cafeteria as a start, then around the floors.
Format: Action
Summary: Lezard picked at random a few test subjects, it's to say the nine characters mentioned above. Only to see if his potion that transforms people into demons works in the tower. And it does work! Party time? You can meet them while they are under the potion's effect.
Warnings: Good people growing stronger, getting more resistant and going totally mad/feral. Or even worse, turning into full-fledged blood-thirsty demoniac creatures. Lots of pain before, during and after the transformation. Deadly random encounters if you happen to meet them. Heart-wrenching mercy kills. Aside from that? Nothing really.


OOC Information
Lezard will barely appear in this log, only to provide his potion to the victims. He will disappear immediately afterward and his involvement in this horror will remain secret. The nine characters are going to drink Ghoul Powder; a special potion used by Necromancers. It drives those who drink it crazy and turn them into either a Demon or an Undead. There are no known cure to Ghoul Powder, hence the only way for characters to be released from the potion's effect is for them to die. Because it's mostly a pre-plotted log, the threads where the characters are meant to die will be closed; but the threads where you can have a random encounter with the demon-ified / undead-ified characters will be open.

Characters under Ghoul Powder's effect are much stronger than usual, much more resistant and merciless for the most part. The threads where they transform, the players will chose whether to keep them open or closed.

There are two kinds of transformation that will happen in this log, the Demon Transformation and the Undead Transformation as mentioned before. Demon Transformation is the worse by far as the characters not only go mad but turns intoa true, complete demons as shown here. Undead Transformation has the same effect, but the characters can keep their normal form as shown here.

How it works: Basically, right after drinking it the characters will feel very uncomfortable and painful for both version of the potion. The pain will keep growing for a couple minutes inside of them, up to the point it is unbearable. They can also feel like something demonic/evil is growing inside of them and taking over, so to say. The pain remains but becomes barely noticeable once the potion takes full effects, since the characters go mad/feral/etc. They become a lot stronger and more resistant to attacks. And of course, they attack whoever they happen to see.

A few seconds before dying, they may regain their sanity and/or human appearance. Like, to say thank you to the one(s) who killed them.

[He can sense something corrupted, something totally wrong and twisted, and he runs, seeking it out. He needs to find what it is... the stench of such a thing is offensive and unnerving.]

[He follows one of the scents to the source, stopping to stare at it.]

[No. Not her, anyone but her...]

[He steps towards the farmer, saying nothing yet, but setting his expression to one of grim determination.]

[Mami's movements are twitchy, shambling and uncoordinated in a way that no human's should be. When she looks up at Fou-Lu -

Well. Her eyes aren't supposed to be that color or that blank, her face isn't supposed to be that pale, and aren't blood veins not supposed to be that visible?

...Aren't blood veins not supposed to be black?

She lurches forward, head tilting at a very unusual angle before she speeds up, trying to charge Fou-Lu.

It's obvious that at this point she doesn't recognize him - or anyone else for that matter.]

[He reaches for her, attempting to catch her and just hold her. He doesn't want to hurt her... he doesn't want to do this. It makes his heart ache to see it, in a way he doesn't quite understand.]

Mami. Awaken thyself...

[His voice is strained, his throat tight. He just wants her to stop.]

[She knows this voice, she does, and for a brief moment, she stills. She hasn't recovered physically, but for a moment-

For a moment, she remembers. She is a person named Mami. The person she is talking to is Ryong, the First Emperor, her friend, the most important person in her life, a dragon.

And she knows what has to be done. It hurts, and she knows it's going to hurt him to do this, he's upset as it is, but she will not live like this.]

Please...End it...Ah canno'...

[Her voice is quiet, dry and scratchy, hoarse from the transformation - but she means every word. It can be seen in her eyes, which almost look human again.

Almost.]

[... He knows. He knows what needs to be done... and yet he hesitates. He places a gentle hand on the top of her head, and then lowers that hand so he can hold her around the torso.]

[He lifts his other hand, forming his blade, and in one swift movement slices through her neck, not moving even when the blood sprays on him.]

[He will not cry. He cannot cry. He must remain strong for her until the end.]

[Before he delivers that strike, however, Mami manages a smile - a tearful one, but a true smile just the same.]

Thank ye, Ryong...

[As he feels her life fade, he holds her, keeping her head on her neck to save her dignity.]

[And then she's gone. He cradles her body close to himself, and does something he hasn't done in six hundred years.]

[He allows himself to weep, body shaking as the tears drip down. He reaches up and tears his shirt, knowing that even though she will revive in the morning, this pain will not cease.]

[And neither will his desire for revenge.]

[He stands, carrying her with him, taking her up to the ruined farmland. He tears a strip from his shirt, wrapping it around her neck to keep her head on her shoulders, and sits her next to the remnants of the plot.]

[He straightens, and clenches his fists, heading off to try to find the one responsible for this.]
