Setting: Cafeteria as a start, then around the floors.
Format: Action
Summary: Lezard picked at random a few test subjects, it's to say the nine characters mentioned above. Only to see if his potion that transforms people into demons works in the tower. And it does work! Party time? You can meet them while they are under the potion's effect.
Warnings: Good people growing stronger, getting more resistant and going totally mad/feral. Or even worse, turning into full-fledged blood-thirsty demoniac creatures. Lots of pain before, during and after the transformation. Deadly random encounters if you happen to meet them. Heart-wrenching mercy kills. Aside from that? Nothing really.


OOC Information
Lezard will barely appear in this log, only to provide his potion to the victims. He will disappear immediately afterward and his involvement in this horror will remain secret. The nine characters are going to drink Ghoul Powder; a special potion used by Necromancers. It drives those who drink it crazy and turn them into either a Demon or an Undead. There are no known cure to Ghoul Powder, hence the only way for characters to be released from the potion's effect is for them to die. Because it's mostly a pre-plotted log, the threads where the characters are meant to die will be closed; but the threads where you can have a random encounter with the demon-ified / undead-ified characters will be open.

Characters under Ghoul Powder's effect are much stronger than usual, much more resistant and merciless for the most part. The threads where they transform, the players will chose whether to keep them open or closed.

There are two kinds of transformation that will happen in this log, the Demon Transformation and the Undead Transformation as mentioned before. Demon Transformation is the worse by far as the characters not only go mad but turns intoa true, complete demons as shown here. Undead Transformation has the same effect, but the characters can keep their normal form as shown here.

How it works: Basically, right after drinking it the characters will feel very uncomfortable and painful for both version of the potion. The pain will keep growing for a couple minutes inside of them, up to the point it is unbearable. They can also feel like something demonic/evil is growing inside of them and taking over, so to say. The pain remains but becomes barely noticeable once the potion takes full effects, since the characters go mad/feral/etc. They become a lot stronger and more resistant to attacks. And of course, they attack whoever they happen to see.

A few seconds before dying, they may regain their sanity and/or human appearance. Like, to say thank you to the one(s) who killed them.

Momonoji!

[Kintaros isn't all that worried about fending off the sword. He's more concerned with accidentally injuring his friend in the process! He lunges forward, trying to grab Momotaros by the upper arms so he can't complete that attack.]

Momonoji! Tell me what's wrong!

[Were it anyone else, Momotaros would likely have powered through the grab, but Kintaros stops the swing. Momotaros still pushes, though. The effort makes more sand leak out, and he's got no intentions of answering the question - only making angry noises as he tries to overpower the other Imagin.]

[This is bad. This is bad. Kintaros has little concentration to spare for anything other than restraining Momotaros – when did he get so much stronger? – so it takes him longer than it should to realise that something has gone horribly wrong. It's like Momotaros is possessed.]

Stop! You're – you're killing yourself!

[There's sand all over, caught in Kintaros' fur, scraping under his feet as he gathers himself and shoves back against Momotaros, hard. He doesn't wait for Momo to advance again; he charges after, aiming his open-handed strikes to try and knock Momo down without doing him much more harm. He just has to stop the other Imagin. Surely Momo will come back to himself.

Surely.]

[Even with his improved strength, Kintaros is still Kintaros. Momo's knocked back by the shove, and to the floor by the strikes. He wheezes, shaking his head at Kin's words as he stumbles back up.]

Not me... You.

[He grips the handle of his blade with both hands, and energy charges up around the blade.]

...finishin' blow...

[Kintaros might as well have "dull shock" written all over him when Momotaros utters those words. This makes no sense. He can't make sense of something this nonsensical, this ridiculous, this awful. He takes a half-step back and his axe is in his hands.

He's still on the defensive. He doesn't want to hurt Momotaros.]

Momonoji – don't!

[alwaysataclimax]

[There's visibly labored breathing, indicative of just how worn down Momo is by how his shoulders rise and fall. Sand still leaks from him, and his stance is sloppier than normal.

The energy around the blade crackles, and starts to focus around the end.]

My finishin' blow... PART FOUR!

[With that, Momotaros charges and screams, and swings the blade down hard at Kintaros.]

…Four?!

[Kintaros is caught so off-guard by that number – Momo always avoided four – that he's too dumbfounded to defend himself. Pain explodes where Momo's sword cuts into his chest; the force of the blow knocks him clear off his feet.

He didn't honestly think Momo would follow through. It's more than a moment or two before he can will his numbed limbs into working again.]

Momo… why? What happened? [His voice comes rough, strained, as he pushes himself onto hands and knees, brushing away some of the sand that seeps from his wound.] What's wrong with you?! [Any other time, any other place, if Momotaros wanted a fight or a quick spar, Kintaros would be only too glad to oblige. Not now. Not when it's all wrong.]

[Well, damn. That didn't get the job done. There's some niggling bit in the back of Momo's mind that says he shouldn't be surprised by this, but it goes unheard.

Momotaros takes a few moments to get his wind back, and ignores Kintaros' pleading for answers. He heads forward again, raising his sword once more.]

[wipeyourtears]

Do you want me to beat the answers out of you? [If anything, Kintaros sounds pained by the suggestion. All the same, he lurches to his feet and swings his axe at the same time, aiming the flat of the wide blade squarely for Momo's midsection to knock the wind back out of him.

He just wants to disable his friend. Momo deserves a chance to explain himself.

Kintaros just hopes he can.]

[alwaysataclimax]

[And knock the wind out it does - as well as a fair bit more sand. Momotaros coughs and wheezes at the impact, taking a moment to fall to one knee, clutching his gut. For the moment, he seems to be disabled, as he's using his sword for a crutch.]

[This will probably be easier with Momotaros disarmed. Kintaros tries to kick the sword out of Momo's reach; he feels a pang of guilt about it with Momo in such a poor state, but there's no denying that his friend is dangerous.]

Answer me! Have you gone completely mad?

[alwaysataclimax]

[The sword goes flying, clattering across the floor while Momotaros falls to the side with a pained grunt. He tries to catch himself with his hand, but the mess of sand all around causes him to slip, winding up on his side. He snarls amid his pained breaths, and glares up at Kintaros. Sure, he's been mad at the bear before - but this look lacks something...]

Nrrrhhggghhhrrr...

…Momonoji…? [There's something amiss besides Momo's strange behaviour; Kintaros can feel it. It makes his fur stand on end all over again.

It's almost like Momo isn't even there. Kintaros' guard slips again.]

[And that gives Momotaros an opening. An opening to push up and lunge at Kintaros. It's not a very good lunge, given the positions, though it's aimed for the bear's waist. He continues to show no interest at all in answering Kintaros' continual questions, and should he connect, he'll attempt to wrestle Kin to the ground.]

[Being shouldered in the gut doesn't do much to stun Kintaros, though he is thrown off balance. Throwing Momotaros off quickly becomes a priority, however, because in his condition, he might just kill himself pushing Kintaros.

Kintaros can't bear the thought that Momo could die here, now, fighting him. This isn't right.]

Stop! [He sounds frantic as he makes a grab for Momo's injured arm to pull him away at the same time he struggles to stay on his feet. Momo is dragging him down hard.]

[The grab to his injured arm doesn't do much to Momotaros' attention other than annoyance, at least until Kintaros' strength overwhelms his own. He tumbles to the ground once more, thankfully easily removed by the positioning and his continuing decline in state of being.

He still moves to try and get up, though. It's slower and messier than before, but he's just not going to stop. Not until he can't, anyway.]

Stop. [Kintaros struggles to make his voice firm as he tries to hold Momotaros down with one foot. He's never been afraid of anything – not even dying. He's afraid for Momo right now.] This is not right. This is not you! Come to your senses!

[He isn't trying hard to keep Momo down. He doesn't want to accidentally crush anything.]

Gyeeeaaugh....

[He might not make very much headway, but Momo will keep pushing against the foot, consequences be damned. Mostly because he's comprehending consequences even less than he normally does at this point, which is saying something.]

[If he pushes back any harder, he will most certainly injure Momo. Kintaros doesn't see much choice but to relent and back away.]

Momonoji… [What if he lets Momo tire himself out? The other Imagin looks to be on the brink of exhaustion as it is. Kintaros lowers his axe and slaps his chest.] Take your anger out on me, then!
