Characters: Terezi and Bluekat
Setting: In the dorms, just after Karkat returns.
Format: Action?
Summary: Terezi thinks Bluekat is being a huge wriggler about this whole "alternate version" business. TIME TO LAY DOWN THE LAW.
Warnings: None!
[Terezi would never, ever understand why she kept becoming friends with cudmudgeonly boys with egos made of glass. Karkat's little temper tantrum had been one of the most ridiculous things she'd seen.
But, to be fair, she could understand why he was frustrated.
That didn't mean he had to be such a baby about it.
So Terezi knocks on his door, tapping her cane against her shoe impatiently.]

Is not. Tell me!
no subject
Terezi.

I just don't fucking understand how a mutant-blooded fuckwad could get so much attention, ok? Not even attention with a culling fork -- I have to sit around and watch people recoil from me because of him when they realize that, holy fucking shit, I'm a fucking freak of nature! It doesn't make any fucking sense. Why am I the freak when he's the one who's supposed to be the fucked up swimbeast spawn?
[He says this all in mostly one breath and then glares at her accusingly.]
There. Are you happy now?
no subject
You're right. That is stupid. In fact, I am pretty sure that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life.
The hemospectrum doesn't matter. It never did, and now it means even less. Our species is extinct. Who cares what color his blood is? Who even told you about that? Ugh!
[She shakes her head, pushing herself off of the bed.]
I thought you were above all of that blueblood superiority crap! All any of you did in our session was go shithive and murder everyone, and Vriska...
[Terezi lets out another irritated huff.]
I thought you were better than her.
no subject
Yeah well, I guess I'm not better than anyone, am I? Him or her.
[When he finally does meet her eyes, he's also glaring.]
I could say the same about you and Feferi in my session. Does that make you a murderer too?
no subject
How did you feed your lusus, Karkat?
no subject
Why the fuck does that even matter?
no subject
Because I want to know if I am wasting my time trying to be friends with you.
no subject
If you have to fucking ask, maybe you already have your answer, because its really none of your business.
So much for promising not to fucking get mad, either.

[Nookhurt? Very much so.]
no subject
[Holy shit.]
That isn't even what I was going to say, but it doesn't matter. This is ridiculous!
no subject
[He turns his back to her and moves to sit in the corner by himself, folding his arms and crossing his legs. Both eyes stare passed her at the wall behind her.]
no subject
Stop it! I was going to say that you aren't Vriska, and I should give you a chance, but you are making me seriously reconsider!
no subject
[Yup, definitely sulking. And kind of more-than-a-little hurt.]
I don't know what else you want from me.
no subject
SHE WANTS HIM TO STOP BEING A HUGE DOUCHEBAG TO BE HONEST. She can hear the hurt in his voice, though, and the spiteful half of her thinks, Good. You Deserve it. But the part of her that knows she was being unfair by comparing him to other people, and she bites back whatever horrible thing she was going to say.
She falls silent for a second or two.]
Did you really mean that? You don't like Karkat because of his blood color?
no subject
My moirail was a gutterblood. I told you that.
no subject
[Her voice is sharp, and then she pauses, eyeing him almost suspiciously.]
No one has thought badly of you because of Karkat. Except Eridan, maybe, but he is a pathetic, worthless coward. Vriska is the horrible one.
no subject
Whatever. I'm tired of being treated like a clone.
[Karkat just waves a hand at her and looks away.]
I'm done.
no subject
[She feels another surge of anger, because while she can't tell exactly what he's doing, it's clearly a dismissal.]
You're not a clone, okay? Jegus.
[She's tempted to add that he combines all of Karkat and Vriska's most horrible qualities, but she manages to refrain.]
I already said it was stupid and unfair. [No, you didn't.] Don't insult Karkat over my fuck up.
no subject
Look, I don't care, ok? I get it. I don't want to talk about it.
no subject
Get what? You're not Vriska and you're not my Karkat. Fine. Do you think that upsets me?
