Characters: One guilty and pissed off demon (
divinitysoiled) and anyone in her warpath
Setting: Floors 1-6
Format: Action, will match prose
Summary: After what happened here, Catarina is taking her guilt and anger out on monsters and anything in her path
Warnings: Gore, usual succubus shenanigans
[It started fairly innocently. The first floor was as clean as it usually was, until the stairs were encountered. Once there, it was obvious someone had fought a monster and had a few aggression issues to take out. It was a bloody affair with bits and pieces scattered in quite a few places, but other than that, it wasn't that bad.]
[The following floors had worse. It looked like someone had started to go out of their way to find monsters, the aggression becoming worse and worse. As the carnage started to get worse, there started to be the sound of a woman laughing maniacally. Close to the sixth floor was the source, one Catarina Amanto covered in blood, guts, and possibly little else, knife in her hand and eyes wild. She was laughing still, looking around for her next victim.]

Floor 6
When he saw the strange woman, laughing in that manner, he stopped short and took in the sight.]

Enjoying yourself?

[Catarina laughed at that, her knife coming up to trace the swell of her breasts.] Enjoying? Enjoying?

breastblade for a moment, before returning to hers.He didn't seem particularly disturbed at the mess, as some others might be.]
You do seem positively ecstatic, my lady.

Perhaps you should read others better.

True, he had spent almost six months wandering the wastelands of Tamriel, seeing neither beast nor man nor mer save dead. Maybe he was a bit rusty.]
[Then it occurred to him, her laughter was the laughter of anguish, her smile masking emotions contrary.
By Sithis, he needed to get out more.]
My apologies, it has been... some time since I spoke with a beautiful woman.
[Don't think he won't defend himself if she attacks; his stance looked lazy, sloppy, but that was a deception. It would take more than just six months alone for him to forget something so ingrained.]

Uh. What are we laughing about? Also.
[He gave her a look.]
This is not something I usually say but, love, you could use a bath.

[Jack let her hold him for a moment, before giving her a wry smile.]
Tell me when I should start shrieking like a little girl, okay? I'm mighty distracted so I'm sure I'll miss my cue.
[Well, given where his hands are...]

You humans never look to see what to do.

[He blinks down at her, head tilting slightly to the side.]
I mean, the trail of slaughter is a good warning sign, but what if I listened to warning signs I wouldn't have half the fun I do, now would I?
no subject
So you think this is all about fun?

Yes, the King of Knights found the actions of that unruly mob, attacking innocents - as she saw the colorless drones to be innocents - as misdirected and dishonorable. She had tried to stop Lancer and some of the others from participating with her words, but she let them choose their fate.
Still, this amount of carnage closer to the 'safer' areas of the Tower was something of concern for her. So, in full armor - black and jagged with slightly glowing red veins through it - and her visor down, she followed the trail.
And then she found Catarina. Beautiful, sensual, dangerous Catarina. Saber made no move to stop her. She said nothing as she stood by the wall, motionless as a statue, and watched her with shielded eyes. Her sword was planted point down before her, the dark prana - swirling black and red - obscuring the form and length almost making the sword invisible.
Catarina had never seen the king in full armor, in full glory. To most it would be a terrifying sight as the dark knight's presence inspired fear from those looking upon her like this.
Yet, Saber did not expect Catarina to fear her. At least, she wouldn't show it if she did feel fear at the power of the darkness, the corruption of Saber's being.
Speaking not a word, Saber watched and waited as she observed the succubus.]

["How could you?! You know what they're going to do!"]
[The youthful female voice filled her memory, of a near colorless girl with outrage and betrayal filling her features mixing with the same anger from a blue haired man here. Catarina snarled, her hand tightening on the knife. "That's Jason!"
"How could you?!"
"You have less honor than me!"
A wordless howl escaped her lips as she lept at Saber, filled with directionless anger and hatred]

But she didn't take that opportunity. She didn't know what exactly was driving these emotions in the succubus, and... she did care for the woman. She would not cut her down over something so small as an emotional outburst with a knife.
Saber's hand came up quickly to catch the knife, the blade nestled between the fingers of her metal gauntlet. The blade locked in her grip, she held onto Catarina's hand and made sure to hold back enough to not break any bones as she didn't want to hurt her.
Hidden behind her visor, her eyes searched Catarina's, wondering how this had come to pass. And yet, she maintained her silence and made no counterattack.]

Pale yellow eyes unwavering stared back at Catarina and the red mark scrawled up her cheek, visible above the armor protecting her neck and jaw.]
Are you done? If not, you may strike me again.

[Her first word to the woman, said on misdirected rage and a hint of longing and childishness. Catarina attacked her again, this time in a manner more benefitting a succubus; she darted forward and kissed her deeply, feeding.]
[But at the same time, she took refuge in the darkness of Saber. She needed it, the feeling of unrelenting and unjudging darkness]

sorry for the late, I was waiting to see how our other thread went first
The sound of laughter drew her though, it wasn't happy laughter; Nesir mostly hated that, but mad laughter. She would have guessed Richtofen except his laugh was lower...
When she saw the demon her eyebrows raised. Though the woman... scared wasn't the right word because Nesir was never scared, unnerved her, this she could understand. Murder and blood and anger. This made sense to Nesir.]
Do you be wanting help?
