[There were certain ways to keep warm in the cold, and building a campfire was tried and true. Aleph wasn't going to argue with that. His hands were cold enough that he wasn't going to waste time with traditional methods, however.

His unconventional methods included Mara. He was, after all, a powerful demon with mighty fire attacks.

Therefore: those who wish to huddle around the campfire on the meadow floor will have to share space with a shivering Aleph, and with the giant penis in a chariot that occasionally blows fire to keep the wood burning.]

[She blinks over at Aleph and shrugs slightly.] I'm not that cold... But, um, thanks.

[So she goes over to take a seat by the fire, wincing slightly before drawing her knees up to her chest.]

Have you been all right since we last spoke?

[Which she's a bit surprised about, but she doesn't mention it.]

Besides being kinda cold, I've been okay. I somehow managed to make myself a pair of gloves that aren't fingerless like my usual pair- [Lifts hands that show said gloves she made.] -and I'm working on some other stuff... What about you?

Trying to stay warm and stay busy. I've been reading a lot more than I used to. I've looked at a guide to sewing but... without the dexterity for it I don't think I should bother right now.

That's probably a good idea. But at least you've got Mara to help you stay warm.

He's been very helpful. -don't use that as an excuse to get big-headed, though.

Y-yeah, probably a good plan. [A faint shiver and she tugs her coat tighter around herself.] ... How long can Mara do this for, though?

I'm giving him trade-offs every hour with the other one of my demons with fire magic. Between them, we can keep this up for a long time.

T-that's good. With how the temperature keeps dropping, I imagine you would have to do this for a while to stay warm.

Are we only halfway through the month? Urgh...

[technologic]

I would offer to help, but I can't do much besides start fires... Plus I'm kinda iffy around fire in general, so...

So no campfire in your room?

[technologic]

... It'll be a bit further away from my bed. I'm not gonna let my roommates freeze just cause I'm not too fond of fire.

That's fair. I thought you wouldn't.

Mmm... Plus, if it's under control, it's okay. S'why I'm happy enough sitting close to it right now.

[Her eyes widen, and she glances at Mara and then back at Aleph.] Wait, really?

Is it weird to talk to my demons? [Headtilt.]
