Christmas curry~

Summary: Shion is using her flu present~ And willing to share a little curry.
Warning: AMAZING AND DELICIOUS SWEET CURRY THAT IS NOT GROSS AND SPICY~ And fluff. And kissing. And Wilhelm.



Anyone near the kitchen would probably smell a delicious blend of spices, that made up Shion's special sweet curry. Earlier in the day, she had been surprised to find the basket of ingredients in her room (as well as something disturbing from home), and she wasted little time getting to the kitchen to prepare her specialty.

They didn't give her a while lot, but she's definitely be willing to share a portion or two with anyone tired of nutrition bars.

In the Library...

Shion stepped off the stairs quietly and surveyed the room.

"Allen? Jin?"

She had something small concealed in her hand, and she looked a little worried. She really hoped at least one of them would be there.

[She smiled.]

Allen...

[She boosted herself up a little, and gave him a little kiss on the cheek. She didn't even know what to say, but she looked at if she might cry.]

[temptestament]

*He blushed, but smiled back.*

I mean it. Even if I was dead, I couldn't live with myself if I just abandoned you to whatever happened.

[oforder]

It is interesting, isn't it?

[ Wilhelm would be seen standing at the far end of the room, when he wasn't there just a few seconds earlier. Typical Wilhelm entrance. He slowly approached both of them, his hands folded behind his back. His bright red eyes shifted from Allen, to Shien, back to Allen. ]

Not even time and space can separate the human heart. Indeed, not even death itself. But you would know that better than anyone, wouldn't you, Shion?

[ He took a moment to glance at Allen. ]

If at first you do not succeed.

[uzuki]

[She sighed, not letting go of Allen. She didn't turn to face Wilhelm either.]

Wilhelm... Can we help you with something?

[BECAUSE you're interrupting.]

[temptestament]

*His grip around Shion's shoulders tightened, turning more protective. His tone and expression both turned flat and he glanced over at Wilhelm, but didn't move.*

I would tell you it's impolite to eavesdrop on a private conversation, but I'm pretty sure you don't care.

[oforder]

Allen, you know by now that if I wished to eavesdrop, I would not need to be here in person.

[ His gaze didn't break from Shion. ]

I received a gift from the Administrators. I am curious if you did, as well.

[uzuki]

[Well, that caught her attention. She gently pulled away from Allen, and turned to look at Wilhelm finally.]

What did they give you?

[temptestament]

Then you shouldn't need to comment, either.

*He was a little reluctant to let go of Shion, remembering what Rubedo had said about what Wilhelm had done, but he let her pull away, leaving a hand on her shoulder.*

Why not? It is interesting to know that all recurrences follow a similar pattern. Wouldn't you agree?

[ He noted Allen's apparent hostility, and he has an idea of where it came from. Without another word to him, he took another step towards Shion. ]

Something important to me.

[ Which, frankly, could mean just about anything. ]

I am more interested in what you gained. Your E.S. cannot fit inside of the trunk, and you already have your M.W.S. That only leaves a few options.

[uzuki]

Curry.

[She motioned to Allen's bowl on the nearby table.]

They gave me ingredients for my curry.

[WHICH wasn't entirely untrue...]

Interesting, maybe, but I don't think it's really urgent enough to interrupt a conversation.

*Especially since it seems like he can't talk to her at all lately without someone interrupting.*

Sorry about this..is it alright?

Pardon me for interrupting..

[And cue chaos suddenly standing at the library's entrance. He had sensed the three together and had a bad feeling about what was going on. The fact that he had gotten one of his old books from the Administrators did not help his mood, and nor did the recent festivities. He walked into the room.]

But I smelled some curry in here and couldn't help but ask for a plate, if it's no trouble.

Curry. [ Wilhelm repeated. ] You know that there is little anyone can hide from me, correct?

[ Completely ignoring Allen for the moment, he did, however, turn to face Yeshua as he entered. ] Impeccable timing, Yeshua. [ As usual. ] If this is to be a dinner party, perhaps I might have a plate, as well?

[uzuki]

chaos...

[She definitely knew that hiding something from Wilhelm would be difficult, and that is why she was a little relieved about chaos's interruption. She nodded to him, and vaguely to Wilhelm as well.]

There's more down in the kitchen. They gave me ingredients to make plenty.

[Not that she had ever intended to cook for Wilhelm, but... Worse things could have happened, she supposed.]

And I was kind of looking forward to trying what she brought for me.

*Besides, he really doesn't want to share with Wilhelm right now.*

[lightofhumanity]

[chaos turned to Wilhelm first, and giving the 'man' a small glare. Normally, chaos wouldn't give Wilhelm such a look, but bothering his friends right after Christmas was not a way to get on his good side.]

I would say that I arrived at the proper moment. However, I do not think that a dinner party right now is in good taste. A last supper before the new year would not sit well with any of us.

[chaos then nodded at Shion and Allen, both to acknowledge them and point them out.]

And if Allen is looking forward to eating Shion's curry, it is best that we leave them both alone for the moment.

[Unless he wanted to come to blows.]

[oforder]

[ He can take a hint. That said, he was going to get one last word in, to remind Allen of one very simple and inextricable fact: ]

Allen will never be truly alone, Yeshua. It is his nature as a Testament.

[ He motioned for Yeshua to follow him. ]

A last supper? An interesting choice of words, Yeshua.

[ He'd have smirked if it were possible for him to do so. He then descended the stairs, with one last glance at Shion. ]

We'll speak again.

[uzuki]

[WELL that was ominous. She calmly watched him make his way down the stairs before turning back to Allen with a sigh.]

I'll have to remember to thank chaos later.

[temptestament]

*He nodded, letting his hand drop off her shoulder.*

I'm...sorry about that. But he's right, he's more likely to pay attention to you when we're together. He's probably always watching me and Jin.

[lightofhumanity]

I know he will not be. However, a few moments of peace are good for him, even if he cannot always have them.

[chaos ignored Wilhelm's hand gesture. He did not feel like being with him right now. He was not a Testament or a person under his thumb. There was a reason he went by the name of 'chaos' nowadays.]

Interesting, but you know why I chose those words.

[chaos then sighed in his head as Wilhelm spoke to Shion and as Allen and Shion talked amongst themselves. He'd move off in a moment too, but he had to speak quickly first.]

You could thank me right now, Shion. And Wilhelm will always be watching you, regardless of whom you interact with. It is how he is.

[He then sighed to himself.]

I imagine that there is a reason he was bothering you and asking about gifts?

[chaos knew already, but he was going to be polite about it.]

[uzuki]

chaos is right, he's probably watching all of us, regardless.

[She turned to chaos, because her mun thought chaos had left for whatever reason and nodded.]

Thank you, chaos. I know you can't deter him forever, but...

[She reached into her pocket and produced Kevin's pendant to show chaos.]

Allen and I were just discussing why I might have received this, when he appeared, so he probably knows anyway.

[temptestament]

...

*He knows that they're right, that Wilhelm most likely keeps an eye on everyone anyway. But that's not his only worry. He was a Testament and, to a certain extent, that made him an extension of Wilhelm's will. People who got close to him were at more risk of being hurt if he had to do something harsh...so wouldn't it be best to not get too close?*

All I can really think of is that it's to worry us. The Vessels aren't here and Mary isn't even close to awakening inside of KOS-MOS, so the key can't really do anything, but I can't think of any good reason they would give it to you.

[lightofhumanity]

[chaos nodded and smiled..even though that smile will look a bit sad.]

You're quite welcome. I am glad that I was able to step in and help.

[chaos paused for a moment when Shion showed him Mary's pendant. First his book and now her necklace. The Administrators were having fun today, weren't they?]

They gave it to you to cause more conflict and strife. Even if the Vessels and Mary are not here, he could grab the pendant and keep it until he got back to his universe. Having it there would speed his plans up quite a bit. Since he knows already, it is best that you two hide it somewhere and do your best to make sure he does not steal it.

[uzuki]

[She put it back in her pocket, for the time being.]

That seems to be what they're after. You know, I think getting sick was just some experiment of theirs too. That would explain why... Why I felt so strange.

They gave me a note to thank me for participating in their test.

Maybe you could put it on one of the power nullification floors. I can't see or affect anything on them long-range unless I'm actually there, so he shouldn't be able to see where you've hidden it without looking for it the hard way.
