1st Call
Characters: Lucifel & Open for all
Setting: Room 01-12, then changing locations
Format: Action for now, otherwise I can adapt to prose as well
Summary: Lucifel's first day in the tower, he awakens to find out that there is something not quite right with him...
Warnings: None at the moment.
[Sleeping was something Lucifel has never done before in his life since he was created by God. So it's a great surprise for him to find himself lying in a bed and especially being somewhere that is neither Heaven nor Earth. Well, as surprised as he could be.
When he was finally able to move he feels the collar around his neck, trying with all his strength to get it off but fails. Not even a second later his eyes are staring at himself. Heaven, whoever made him wear this suit has not even the slightest sense for fashion... where are his clothes anyways? His cellphone seems to be gone as well.
The archangel then notices two letters, both were directed at him. The one that said that his home world got destroyed just got a look of disbelief from him. Sure, whatever makes the one who sent this happy. The other he found just as hard to believe. Then again, who would make such a joke?
At least one thing was true. The trunk had all of his belongings inside, his clothes, which he quickly changed back into, and even his cellphone. Said phone is shut off for a reason unknown to him and he couldn't make it work either. He would figure something out later and slides his phone into the right back-pocket of his jeans.
Lucifel lifts his left hand, he wouldn't stay here longer than necessary, then flicks his fingers to get himself home.
Nothing happens.]
You must be kidding me...
[He gives it one, two, three more tries and he is still here. Alright. Looks like he is forced to take a look around.
Honestly, he is not amused.]

Ah, alright then! That's great to hear! That must have cheered him up a little bit.
[She then nodded.]
It really doesn't..it's something that the Administrators put down to try and trick people into thinking that their worlds are destroyed. Not many people actually buy into it though.
no subject
Oh?
[He tilts his head slightly.]
Neither do I. A lot would need to happen for the world I know to get destroyed.
no subject
..She also knew better than to talk about the Lucifer in her world. Best to keep her mouth shut when it came to that, at least, for now.
However, at the comment and the headtilt, Tohko chuckled a little.]
I would imagine that it would be difficult-if not impossible-to kill God in your universe. And again, for a few people here, if you destroyed their universe, you would be destroying them in the process as well.
no subject
That's good to know. And yes, there is nothing that could harm Him.
[Yes, there doesn't seem to be anything that could shake his faith in God.]
no subject
[Tohko was an agnostic..but she knew that other universes had gods, so she was willing to go along.]
Let's see..as for the rest of the Tower..
[Commence the infodump! Lucifel had better be prepared.]
It's run by five people, Dax, who is the most humane of the bunch, Jason, who likes to torture and experiment on the residents here, Zo, a small child who lives with the other Administrators, Riki, a secretive fellow who manages the records and builds the Tower, and Ruana, a childish immortal who has quite a few dangerous powers and has been here for thousands of years.
Monsters roam the Tower at night, and several of the new floors have monsters that will attack if you draw too close. I don't think you'll have a problem fighting, but if you need help, there are always people here more than willing to give it.
When you get to the cafeteria, make sure you eat the oatmeal first. I know it tastes terrible, but if you don't eat it first, you'll throw up anything else you try to eat before you finish it. However, you can add things to it to improve it's taste, and you can eat whatever you want once you're done.
Death here isn't permanent. If you die, you'll just wake up in your bed the next day. However, if you die too many times, you'll probably get punished, so please be careful.
[Tohko then nodded to herself.]
And those are the basics of the Tower.
no subject
That's good to know.
[No, he won't eat anything, he doesn't need to.
Or so he thinks.]no subject
At that, she smiled and nodded.]
I'll be it is. It should be a lot more informative than the first note you got. Anything else you want to know or need help with? I'm a simple book girl, but I'll try to help you out.
no subject
It certainly is. How did you get all that information in the first place?
no subject
Well, I've been in the Tower for four months now, so I've learned a few things. Plus, I'm in the library a lot, so I have can look at the network a lot, even if I don't post.
[..And she's rather nosy. But she's not going to mention that, obviously.]
no subject
[That bad, huh? Though speaking of the library...]
Is there anything I need to know about the other floors or monsters?
no subject
At the question, Tohko nodded and thought as she spoke.]
Yes..let's see..at night, there will be some hellhound-like monsters that will chase you. You can't kill them, so just run away, alright? You die if you try to fight and kill them. And, as you're exploring, if you find a lagoon-like floor, don't put your hand into the water. Mermaids will come up and try to drown you. There are also shadow-like monsters that will kill you, if you let them sneak up on you.
Oh, and don't fall asleep in the poppy field you find! You'll die if you do. And I don't think you should get too close to the circus you find in the higher floors. I have a feeling that the performers will turn you into one of their acts.

However..if you don't know how to fight, and if you don't have a weapon there are plenty of people here who would be willing to teach you, and plenty more who could make a weapon for you.

[Tohko then sighed, thinking back to Enoch's weapon. Building the base might not be hard..but that beam would be. She still remembered how painful that was.]
..but I guess it would be hard to make the beam. Since it's one of your god's weapons, it probably would be impossible to perfectly recreated it. You would have to jut use normal blades or something.

Well, I am friends with Enoch. It would be a bit difficult for me to not see it after awhile in a place like this.
[She had also been cut in half with that weapon, but she wasn't going to mention it. It would drag up way too many questions, and it would probably drag her secret out into the open. Lucifel may have been Enoch's friend..but after his initial reaction, she wasn't sure whether or not bringing it up would be such a good idea.]
However..even if it's not the same, a substitute is better than nothing in this place. At least, that's what I think.
no subject
[Human friends that is. Also, the question would be if that story would even interest him at all.]
Perhaps. The original would be more effective but in this situation complaining is the last thing that should be done.
no subject
I imagine so..after dealing with immortality for awhile, having long-term mortal friends just hurt him. He probably tried to distance himself from them. It's hard to do that in a place like this though.
[Tohko sighed again. She didn't know exactly how long he had been immortal or how he had become immortal..but she could guess the effect it must have had on him over time. She was a book girl, after all. This did pop up in stories from time to time.]
Oh, the original weapon probably would be much more effective than any substitution, but in this situation, you have to take what you can get and make the most of it.
no subject
[It's not the whole story of Enoch but yes, no one had told Enoch until he had noticed it himself.]
It looks like it.
no subject
..Why didn't he know he was immortal? And why didn't you tell him?
no subject
[He's not going to take the blame for something everyone Upstairs knew off. Besides, the topic of Enoch having been granted immortality never came up, until it had become obvious.]
no subject
..That still doesn't anweser my question. Five of you knew. Probably more than that as well. Why didn't anyone tell him? Or did you just think immortality was a blessing and thought he'd be happy?
[..Because if you did, you needed to read more fiction.]
no subject
[The first time he indicated it the worst way possible, one that wouldn't make anyone think of it. The second time was at the 80th year of Enoch's journey.]
no subject
If you told him twice, then why did you say 'once he realized he was immortal', like he didn't know before? He doesn't seem to be the type of person who would just forget something important like that.
