Format: Whichever, though starting with brackets.
Summary: In which April tries to be a good girlfriend and tries to cheer Aleph up after what has happened over the past day or so.

[Despite April's general lack of social skills and tact, she did like to make people she cared about happy. And even April could tell that Aleph wasn't happy, so of course she felt that she needed to do something about this.

Which is why later that day, Aleph will end up being dragged to the media room by April, who is looking equal parts determined and nervous about this.] ... I also made some food too, and it's none of that cafeteria stuff.

[and she'll point at said food in a basket when they walk into the room.]

[You date a technopathic tech geek, it would be a crime if she wasn't good at video games.

Of course, she resisted using her powers to tip the game in her favor. So she ends up pouting when BK gets a couple of bonus stars and wins the game.] ... Dammit.

I definitely did not see that one coming.

[technologic]

AI do sometimes cheat, from what I know. Maybe next time I should lower it's chances of winning a bit.

[She huffs and then stretches.] Do you want to play it again, or play something else?

[alephbet]

What if we did it in teams this time? Us against them.

Oh, good idea! And that way we'll both win if we beat them. [Starting round 2, then.]

[They are going to kick those AI's virtual butts.]

[Aw yeaaaah.

And hey, they got a pretty good lead already.] ... Hopefully this'll keep up.

[And that the AI characters won't steal their coins.]

We know the map layout better this time, too. We'll win.

[And then April gets coins stolen from her.] Wha- Oh, c'mon...

[Aleph actually shakes his fist at the screen o9]

[... Okay that's kinda funny and cute, so April grins a little.]

Well, we can just steal them back. Even if they do steal our stuff, we're gonna win this. [And it helps that April is getting better at dem mini-games.]

Of course we are, but it's still annoying.

Yeah, it is. But I guess it means we can celebrate a bit more when we win, so they annoyed us so much.

[And April smiles a bit more when she manages to get more coins.]

And I think I'm close to getting a star too.

[And then she gets it and all is well!]

[Aw yeah. Now they're in the lead!]

Yay! Now we're sure to win.

[Trowser minigame.]

... Ugh, dammit.

[And it's Trowser's Tug o' War... A-at least they have a bit more of a chance to get out of this with coins in tact.]

[He really hates that turtle in pants sometimes.]

But hey, at least they won the mini game.] ... Ah, that was close. Would've really sucked if we lost coins now.

Right! Just gotta get ourselves some stars and then this game is ours.

[And hey, she manages to get a star.] Right, just a few more turns and we should win.

I completely expected it from the beginning.
