[OPEN] MAGICAL MIDGET ADVENTURES... STARTO!
Characters: [AU7] Waver Velvet, OPEN
Setting: Dormitory floors, fourth floor, random floors.
Format: Action
Summary: Waver searches for her family, sulks around as Wavers do, and then explores a little.
Warnings: May include monsters etc. I'll update accordingly.
Dormitories
[Waver doesn't want to believe what she's been told. It would be so much easier to tell herself this is a prank, or she's being held for ransom, or... something. And that's why, as soon as she's able, the magus wanders the dormitory floors with only one goal on her mind...]
Brother! Brother? Derry! Where have you gone? Derry...!
[The girl's search for her sibling is more than a little frantic, and she'll stop to ask anyone if they've seen him, whether she recognises them or not.]
Floor 4
[After giving up her search, Waver can be found sulking in an out-of-the-way chair with her bowl of oatmeal and a small pile of books pilfered from the library. Every now and then she makes a note of something on her phone, but for the most part she just looks like your average Waver, trying to distract herself.]
???
[Eventually she'll get bored with reading and attempt to go exploring. She's not daft enough to leave the stairs on any floor that looks suspicious, but sometimes things don't go according to plan, do they? It only occurs to her after some time that she should probably rush back to her room before nightfall, if what she heard was true...]

[Hadn't Diarmuid told him about something like this? Right, he'd nearly broken a terminal when he heard there was some world where he was a girl and also apparently Kayneth's daughter.]
[Ew.]
Your name's Waver, isn't it? And your brother...Diarmuid, right?
no subject
[If he wanted to surprise her out of her panic, he can consider this a great success. Waver stares up at the man, trying to recall if she's ever met him before or not. He looks vaguely familiar, and yet... not in any way that clicks.]

[Waver sighed, adjusting the sunglasses on his head.]
Look, this place is definitely dangerous, but I can at least tell you you're safe enough with me. Your brother's not exactly here, but I think your...mother is.
[Ew ew ew the concept was creepy.]

[Only old people say things like that. And her papa, because he hates fun-- wait, did he just mention her mother?]
My mum is here? By herself?

I'm the successor to Kayneth's title.
[Waver really didn't like being dishonest. But he knew when to be very particular with his words.]

[She even has the family crest, so it going to anyone else would be silly. Unless...!]
Ah, or maybe you're from the future and they couldn't make me be a traditionalist so they gave it to you instead?
[HAH, she knew she could do it!]

[She wasn't entirely wrong...the 'future' part was at least correct.]

...Papa wasn't too put out with me, was he? Ah, I hope I didn't give him a heart attack...

[Siiiiiiiigh. If you're going to be a jerk about it:]
I'm from an alternate world where Kayneth didn't have kids, Diarmuid was a Servant, and I was his Master.

[She focuses on the important bits.]

Define 'Servant'.

Not quite the same thing. But never mind, that's not very important right now.
