Summary: Waver searches for her family, sulks around as Wavers do, and then explores a little.

Dormitories

[Waver doesn't want to believe what she's been told. It would be so much easier to tell herself this is a prank, or she's being held for ransom, or... something. And that's why, as soon as she's able, the magus wanders the dormitory floors with only one goal on her mind...]

Brother! Brother? Derry! Where have you gone? Derry...!

[The girl's search for her sibling is more than a little frantic, and she'll stop to ask anyone if they've seen him, whether she recognises them or not.]


Floor 4

[After giving up her search, Waver can be found sulking in an out-of-the-way chair with her bowl of oatmeal and a small pile of books pilfered from the library. Every now and then she makes a note of something on her phone, but for the most part she just looks like your average Waver, trying to distract herself.]

[Eventually she'll get bored with reading and attempt to go exploring. She's not daft enough to leave the stairs on any floor that looks suspicious, but sometimes things don't go according to plan, do they? It only occurs to her after some time that she should probably rush back to her room before nightfall, if what she heard was true...]

I've just been brought here today - I'm led to believe that the oatmeal is only a one-time offer. Considering that the other food available is less appetizing...

Mm. I'm not especially fond of it, but given the alternative I wasn't about to be picky.

[If she has to eat nothing but nutrition bars she's going to get so fat and then no one will think she's cute anymore. TRAGIC.]

There's one a few levels above here. I believe I've heard of one above that that's less dangerous.

Fascinating. I can't imagine how they could fit even a single forest in a tower.
