[OPEN] MAGICAL MIDGET ADVENTURES... STARTO!
Characters: [AU7] Waver Velvet, OPEN
Setting: Dormitory floors, fourth floor, random floors.
Format: Action
Summary: Waver searches for her family, sulks around as Wavers do, and then explores a little.
Warnings: May include monsters etc. I'll update accordingly.
Dormitories
[Waver doesn't want to believe what she's been told. It would be so much easier to tell herself this is a prank, or she's being held for ransom, or... something. And that's why, as soon as she's able, the magus wanders the dormitory floors with only one goal on her mind...]
Brother! Brother? Derry! Where have you gone? Derry...!
[The girl's search for her sibling is more than a little frantic, and she'll stop to ask anyone if they've seen him, whether she recognises them or not.]
Floor 4
[After giving up her search, Waver can be found sulking in an out-of-the-way chair with her bowl of oatmeal and a small pile of books pilfered from the library. Every now and then she makes a note of something on her phone, but for the most part she just looks like your average Waver, trying to distract herself.]
???
[Eventually she'll get bored with reading and attempt to go exploring. She's not daft enough to leave the stairs on any floor that looks suspicious, but sometimes things don't go according to plan, do they? It only occurs to her after some time that she should probably rush back to her room before nightfall, if what she heard was true...]

No, I-- I think you're confusing me with someone else. I don't mean you any harm.
This place is strange, and sometimes there are different versions of people... Your name's not Waver, is it?
no subject
[Granted, it would be perfectly logical for a stalker to know her name. But he doesn't seem nearly so mad as that time, so she's at least willing to hear him out.]
no subject
[He doesn't draw any closer.]
I don't mean to stalk you. I only wanted to help. I can leave, if I make you uncomfortable.
[The last thing he wants to do is frighten young women. (He's aware that in his current state, his appearance isn't the most pleasant or reassuring.) He wouldn't like anyone to stalk Rin or Sakura. Even if they can take care of themselves here in the Tower, he wouldn't look kindly on any behavior like that.]
no subject
[She still doesn't know what all of that was about, but if she can accept that she's woken up in some strange tower with a cyberpunk accessory, she can accept this.]
You already know my name, right? So it's only fair if you tell me yours.
no subject
Yes, I do. I met another version of you, too. Or two of them, actually. Which probably does sound a little mad.
And you're right. I'm Kariya. It's nice to meet you.
no subject
[Manners, right. Papa would have a fit if he saw how awful her manners have been.]
no subject
I'm sure a lot of people must know your name, since there are already two of you here. There's another version of me, too.
You said you were looking for your brother, Derry? I don't know a Derry, but he might be here. I found some of my relatives, though we all arrived at different times.
no subject
Ah, that's right! His name is actually Diarmuid. Maybe, if he he got here before me, he wasn't actually going by "Derry"...
[She can hope, at least.]
no subject
[Things are rather awkward between him and Diarmuid, but there's no point mentioning that.]
I do know one Diarmuid here. He's a close friend of mine. But I don't think he's your brother. [He's a Heroic Spirit, how could he be Waver's brother?] Don't worry, if he's here, we can find him. You can ask on the network. Most people check it.
no subject
[Or maybe it's just wishful thinking. The mention of a network catches her interest, though.]
There's an internet network? My phone isn't working, so I assumed there wasn't any sort of signal here.
no subject
There is. It's only accessible on the terminals. There are a few on the dormitory floors, and in the library.
[Kariya doesn't know much about the internet or cell phones in general, but he does have a handle on the network here.]
no subject
[That can't be right. She won't dwell on it for now.]
Is it a forum? Or are there other things to do on it?
[MMO, perhaps? She can hope!]
no subject
[He hadn't thought it would sound like anyone's brother, at least no one from a modern time.]
I guess you could call it a forum. We can all talk to each other there and leave messages. It has video and audio and text. There's a kind of program where you can draw pictures. There might be something else, but if so, I haven't found it.
