I'll be the one to crucify you
Characters: Ryoji Mochizuki and you!
Setting: Various. Just pick a floor!
Format: Any
Summary: Ryoji begins patrolling the tower as part of his duties as a Group B drone.
Warnings: Brainwashing, body horror, and surgical modifications. Ryoji's also killing people that are disobedient and/or associated with death, so there's going to be lots of violence and murder.
A: Dormitory Floors (not malfuctioning)
Ryoji knows it's been about a week since he's been on the dormitory floors. He disappeared on the eighth, after one of those retrieval units kidnapped him. Jason was experimenting on people, and Ryoji had been one of them. It was extremely painful, but that didn't matter at all. He's not hurting anymore, and he's not upset. He's grateful, in fact. It's been so long since he was anything more than a burden to others. The administrators have given him worth now, and he is going to make sure he doesn't take that for granted.
He makes his round through the dormitory floors, never faltering, not even when someone he should know tries to get his attention. His job is more important than that. Sometimes he'll catch a resident misbehaving or a worker unit failing to accomplish its duties, and he'll approach, one hand poised to pull out the scythe embedded in his head and cut down the offender. Other than that, he just walks, small puddles of acid leaving a trail to show where he's been and where he has yet to be.
B: Any other floor (malfunctioning)
He has no idea how he got up here. He was supposed to be patrolling the residence floors, not anywhere else. Yet he's here now, and he stands still a few moments trying to understand why...
And then, suddenly, he can feel it. Death, all around him, hanging around each person like a fog. The sensation is almost overwhelming, sickening. So much death, ready to take away the souls trapped in the Tower in an instant. Every single resident here is fated to die...
And well, Ryoji can provide that, right? All these residents here were avoiding their fate, and wasn't that against the rules? He had to punish those who misbehaved. It would be cruel, but they deserved it. Every last one of them.

A - I just want you to know whenever you're back I will backtag forever. That is all. <3
So this is what Tohko meant when she said that Jason was pretty terrible and did experiments and the like. He is reminded, somehow, of those who sell themselves to the Abyss and allow their Chains to overtake their body, common sense, and morality.
He should know all about that.
But Break acts entirely casual, cane in hand, tapping along as he comes across Ryoji. Such an interesting sight. That collar... pink... he hadn't seen the color before.
His single red eye narrows just slightly. Dangerous. He is no fool. The Hatter tells him this feeling is from that lovely boy he met before. The oddly dark-feeling one. What a grotesque change. He is not very impressed; it's vulgar, not unlike many Chains. ]
... How disappointing. Nothing more than a doll. You would not hold a candle to the Abyss. What a poorly pieced-together marionette you are. Can you even speak?
[ This could not ever compare to it at all, he quite thinks. It doesn't seem like it, but the Mad Hatter is bristling madly within him; he knew this child was off and this just CONFIRMS his suspicion. The aura of death around Break himself is overwhelming, given his... spotty past, and given Ryoji's condition, he will more than likely know this man is not okay to be walking around at all. ]
Thank you so much <3
As he approaches Break, he has only one thought on his mind: to get rid of the feeling of death emanating from the strange man. He drags himself closer, completely ignoring his original duty.
His entire being is screaming of danger right now, but he still has the courtesy to answer questions.]
Of course I can speak, and I am not disappointing. The administrators do excellent work. It is only like this that I can be
more useful to my masters. Now, answer my question. Why are you so surrounded with death?
<33333 love you dear take care.
Unfortunately, he is in no mood to be forthcoming. ]
I believe you will find that if you continue to bug me about things that do not matter, I will become irritated. Do not waste both our time. Perhaps your precious "administrators" simply put you back together wrong, little Doll of the Abyss--
[ Break doesn't move... yet. He doesn't back away. He just smiles... sharply, like a dagger. His single red eye narrows just a little. He is just as dangerous, and he will not let this... BOY steal his time left from him. The Hatter continues to warn him and he prepares and takes heed--if he can he will avoid battle, but running is not an option. Out of the question. Wherever would he run to in the dorms? Too many dead ends. ]
Or perhaps I should say Sir Death? You're far from excellent work. In fact, it seems like a careless patchwork job to me.

It does matter. I am not wasting my time. I must know what the residents are getting involved with in order to ensure no rebellion is being planned.
And stop insulting the administrators. Absolute care and precision is utilized in creating retrieval units.
[He doesn't bother revealing which of Break's titles is correct. Names don't mean anything now.]

... This needed to happen in a better location. Here, he is boxed in, he cannot move, cannot fight... if it comes to it, he will run down the stairs and find the nearest open space, but for now-- ]
... Rebellion. Really, now. Unfortunately for you, I do not care for mere puppets, especially not those who are incapable of thinking for their own self. Why don't you go let them tug your strings in another direction, Sir Death? You would find more productive uses elsewhere.
[ He's not going to stop doing anything, and he hates being told what to do. ]
Aside from which, care and precision do not always equal precision with care. Your little loyalties seem to be all knotted up. I would cut those strings, if I were you.

I am just ensuring that the residents here are safe, as per my masters' instructions. If you have this aura, even if you are not planning to overthrow the administrators, you are still dangerous, and must be punished. This is what I am to be used for. There is no other productive means for me greater than killing a disobedient resident. Especially one who keeps insulting the administrators!
[Shame he's still not going to take Break's advice and cut those strings. Instead, he dives forward, both hands raised towards the man's neck.]
We will finish this thread yet just you wait
[ That is all he says. Break dodges around the gesture and barely squeezes through to sidestep Ryoji; this is what he'd been waiting for, his chance to get to some open space, and any floor will do, and so he shall run. You will find him a little difficult to catch, Ryoji, are you going to bother to pursue him? If so, he won't be stopping until they reach a floor more suitable for battle.
He can't, really; he does not want to use the Hatter if he can avoid it. ]
EVENTUALLY
Wherever they end up, once Break seems to take a moment of pause, he'll remove the bloodied scythe and rush forward again. He isn't paying much attention to where he's aiming. He'll try to cut off an arm or leg, or leave a gash in his side. Doesn't matter. As long as he can stop Break from moving so quickly.]

Not here. Not now. But he dislikes playing the defense... there must be a way to kill him, he can tell there simply must be. He is not unlike a Chain, the Hatter whispers; surely...? But no, no, he needs to wait for the right moment to use it, to unwind it, or his body will erode just a little more, he will die just a little faster, he will become just a little weaker, and he will tip his entire hand.
And he cannot allow that. ]

Break seems to be exhausted, and therefore Ryoji won't try transforming just yet. He can do this without the use of his powers. He wouldn't be able to properly punish Break with such overwhelming attacks anyways.
He'll keep swinging that scythe around, regardless of how many times he is blocked and how many times he manages to hit.]
