I'll be the one to crucify you
Characters: Ryoji Mochizuki and you!
Setting: Various. Just pick a floor!
Format: Any
Summary: Ryoji begins patrolling the tower as part of his duties as a Group B drone.
Warnings: Brainwashing, body horror, and surgical modifications. Ryoji's also killing people that are disobedient and/or associated with death, so there's going to be lots of violence and murder.
A: Dormitory Floors (not malfuctioning)
Ryoji knows it's been about a week since he's been on the dormitory floors. He disappeared on the eighth, after one of those retrieval units kidnapped him. Jason was experimenting on people, and Ryoji had been one of them. It was extremely painful, but that didn't matter at all. He's not hurting anymore, and he's not upset. He's grateful, in fact. It's been so long since he was anything more than a burden to others. The administrators have given him worth now, and he is going to make sure he doesn't take that for granted.
He makes his round through the dormitory floors, never faltering, not even when someone he should know tries to get his attention. His job is more important than that. Sometimes he'll catch a resident misbehaving or a worker unit failing to accomplish its duties, and he'll approach, one hand poised to pull out the scythe embedded in his head and cut down the offender. Other than that, he just walks, small puddles of acid leaving a trail to show where he's been and where he has yet to be.
B: Any other floor (malfunctioning)
He has no idea how he got up here. He was supposed to be patrolling the residence floors, not anywhere else. Yet he's here now, and he stands still a few moments trying to understand why...
And then, suddenly, he can feel it. Death, all around him, hanging around each person like a fog. The sensation is almost overwhelming, sickening. So much death, ready to take away the souls trapped in the Tower in an instant. Every single resident here is fated to die...
And well, Ryoji can provide that, right? All these residents here were avoiding their fate, and wasn't that against the rules? He had to punish those who misbehaved. It would be cruel, but they deserved it. Every last one of them.

[... It doesn't seem to matter at the moment, because he's clearly been altered. Perhaps it's better to simply avoid aggravating him at the moment. He doesn't know what Jason has done to him.]
[Hopefully he can get by without incident...]
orz
You smell like death. I should have expected that, considering who you work for. It does not matter though. Even if you were good, not dying when the time has come is breaking the rules.
[He tugs on the handle of his scythe and slides the blade, now sticky with blood and brain matter, out of his skull.]
Hold still so I can punish you.

[He eyes that scythe, steadying himself internally.]
I've died more times than you can imagine. Who are you to tell me when it's 'my time', anyway? Even if I can sense something from you, you aren't the one who decides that for me.
In any case, dying here is useless, and dying at home is just a delay. It won't make a difference, no matter what you do.

Cafeteria. Malfunctioning. LET'S SEE HOW THIS GOES. ;_:
[He does not notice that Ryoji is nearby yet. Too busy grumbling over his food.]
PROBABLY TERRIBLY.
You won't have to eat that much longer. Death has come for you.
YEP.
Had things been different, he would have pulled Ryoji aside to press information out of him. Unfortunately, Edgeworth can also see the scythe stuck in the boy's head.]

And then she saw Ryoji. She stopped and stared at him for a while.]
Of course! Works for me!
You. What are you doing? Are you planning on causing trouble?
Excellent.
This person or thing... It sounded as if he had some knowledge. Something inside her said she should take him down now. Why? Was there danger? Then why did she felt so calm? Her handgun was in reach if anything were to happen.]
I'm looking for someone.

Residential areas?
It was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong and this was not ok, but that didn't make him any less hungry. Didn't make him crave it any less.
His hands are stained red with blood as he passes Royji in the hall and not only is this boy disobeying his orders, but he positively reeks of death. He's died more times than he can count and seen more death than he can feasibly remember.]

Ryoji moves quickly, turning to follow the boy and grab his shoulder, whipping him around roughly. Hopefully the acid dripping from Ryoji's hands doesn't harm Czeslaw.]
What are you doing? Why are you covered in that blood?

3rd/4th Floor Dorms
Cecil... Waver...
[The names slip from his mouth so softly they can barely be heard. Diarmuid might not be dead, but the shock and severity of his injuries are making it harder and harder him to see, let alone focus on his goal. He needs to find a healer. Cecil can heal. His master is a magus so maybe there is something he knows as well.
It really doesn't cross his mind that Waver isn't that good a magus. The man has said so himself. All that matters is that he is Diarmuid's master and friend. He will find a way to fix things.
So, Diarmuid stumbles along, blurrily focused on finding help. He really doesn't pay any attention to anyone else around him. It takes too much energy and these are the dorms anyway. They are safer than the other floors...]

[Volumen Hydragyrum was snaking along at his side even as he sprinted as fast as his legs would carry him; though Waver knew damn well he was starting to push it when it came to use and overuse of his own prana, what choice did he have? This place was heading into full-on hell in an handbasket mode, and if a Servant was in danger then god only knew what it was Waver might need to defend himself against.]
Diarmuid--!
[Coming to a stop so sudden the magus nearly tripped himself, Waver halted at the knight's side. Without even pausing to catch his breath, he held a hand out to focus his energy on healing spells. Concentrate, damn it. Don't panic. You're useless if you panic.]
Just...hold on. I can do this. [His extended hand crackled with a pale green energy before it quickly flickered and died.]
[Lord El-Melloi II, archmagus of the Clock Tower, was a terrible healer.]
Shit--not now, don't do this to me now-! [His hand curled into a fist before unfolding again; scowling, Waver closed his eyes and took a deep breath, blocking out everything around him. Focus. Concentrate. Nothing exists but your circuits and what you tell them to do. Don't think about failure. Don't think about consequences. Despite the faintest tremble to his hand and shoulders, Waver's second attempt was met with more success; healing as he did it was a difficult process, but it would begin to take effect quickly enough.]

Stairway near the circus floor
But the dormitory floors are not alright. There's too many of the modified residents up there - it's not safe and she knows that.
But she skids to a stop near the 80th floor - not on the floor, still on the stairs. That's... Ryoji she sees, but there's something off, and it's not just the scythe or any of the obvious outward signs. Frowning, she eyes the entrance to the circus. She knows it's one of the more dangerous floors, but perhaps it's less dangerous than trying to go back up, or trying to get past Ryoji...]

Floor 14 Malfunction
She is blissfully unaware that someone may or may not be behind her.]

What interests him is the death surrounding this girl. Perhaps it wouldn't have been so intense before, but now, it seemed as if everyone was covered in that fate-bringing fog. He can tell just by looking at her that she is to die soon.
He grabs both of her shoulders, pulling her back so he can restrain her against his body.]

floor 25
[Labrys had really just been minding her own business in the meadow as usual; sure, she had a bad feeling about whatever was going on this month, but this place was safe. Right?]
[Not quite. Her sensors were going off now more than ever, screaming danger in a thousand different ways that scared the hell out of her.]
Re: floor 25
It is me.
[He doesn't know why he even bothers answering her question. She won't be able to hear him soon enough. He keeps walking, slowly reaching up to the scythe to remove it from his skull.]

A - I just want you to know whenever you're back I will backtag forever. That is all. <3
So this is what Tohko meant when she said that Jason was pretty terrible and did experiments and the like. He is reminded, somehow, of those who sell themselves to the Abyss and allow their Chains to overtake their body, common sense, and morality.
He should know all about that.
But Break acts entirely casual, cane in hand, tapping along as he comes across Ryoji. Such an interesting sight. That collar... pink... he hadn't seen the color before.
His single red eye narrows just slightly. Dangerous. He is no fool. The Hatter tells him this feeling is from that lovely boy he met before. The oddly dark-feeling one. What a grotesque change. He is not very impressed; it's vulgar, not unlike many Chains. ]
... How disappointing. Nothing more than a doll. You would not hold a candle to the Abyss. What a poorly pieced-together marionette you are. Can you even speak?
[ This could not ever compare to it at all, he quite thinks. It doesn't seem like it, but the Mad Hatter is bristling madly within him; he knew this child was off and this just CONFIRMS his suspicion. The aura of death around Break himself is overwhelming, given his... spotty past, and given Ryoji's condition, he will more than likely know this man is not okay to be walking around at all. ]
Thank you so much <3
As he approaches Break, he has only one thought on his mind: to get rid of the feeling of death emanating from the strange man. He drags himself closer, completely ignoring his original duty.
His entire being is screaming of danger right now, but he still has the courtesy to answer questions.]
Of course I can speak, and I am not disappointing. The administrators do excellent work. It is only like this that I can be
more useful to my masters. Now, answer my question. Why are you so surrounded with death?

However, when he spots Ryoji the former velvet Room attendant is cautious. he had seen him before, not in person but he knew about him from Minako's Social Link with him and his true form as the Avatar of Nxy. But the other doesn't look like his actual form. More like...
He needs to avoid him the best he can.

We'll go with not malfunctioning for now, but that may change if I decide I am terrible ;;
I am fine. Please step aside. I need to survey the dormitory floors.
