I'll be the one to crucify you
Characters: Ryoji Mochizuki and you!
Setting: Various. Just pick a floor!
Format: Any
Summary: Ryoji begins patrolling the tower as part of his duties as a Group B drone.
Warnings: Brainwashing, body horror, and surgical modifications. Ryoji's also killing people that are disobedient and/or associated with death, so there's going to be lots of violence and murder.
A: Dormitory Floors (not malfuctioning)
Ryoji knows it's been about a week since he's been on the dormitory floors. He disappeared on the eighth, after one of those retrieval units kidnapped him. Jason was experimenting on people, and Ryoji had been one of them. It was extremely painful, but that didn't matter at all. He's not hurting anymore, and he's not upset. He's grateful, in fact. It's been so long since he was anything more than a burden to others. The administrators have given him worth now, and he is going to make sure he doesn't take that for granted.
He makes his round through the dormitory floors, never faltering, not even when someone he should know tries to get his attention. His job is more important than that. Sometimes he'll catch a resident misbehaving or a worker unit failing to accomplish its duties, and he'll approach, one hand poised to pull out the scythe embedded in his head and cut down the offender. Other than that, he just walks, small puddles of acid leaving a trail to show where he's been and where he has yet to be.
B: Any other floor (malfunctioning)
He has no idea how he got up here. He was supposed to be patrolling the residence floors, not anywhere else. Yet he's here now, and he stands still a few moments trying to understand why...
And then, suddenly, he can feel it. Death, all around him, hanging around each person like a fog. The sensation is almost overwhelming, sickening. So much death, ready to take away the souls trapped in the Tower in an instant. Every single resident here is fated to die...
And well, Ryoji can provide that, right? All these residents here were avoiding their fate, and wasn't that against the rules? He had to punish those who misbehaved. It would be cruel, but they deserved it. Every last one of them.

[Her answer is immediate, and from the look on her face, it's pretty clear that the information about the mailboxes being used to fight back is news to her. Or at least... it would be clear to someone who wasn't looking for an excuse to kill her. Who's to say how Ryoji would interpret it?]
All I'm thinking about is going about my day, same as anyone.

You're lying. You are thinking about rebelling. I can tell that's what you're doing... but I won't let you think that way any more.
[He's finally close enough. He raises his arms up, aiming to wrap both hands around her neck. He's quick, but Mitsuru is used to battle. She may be able to avoid him.]

[Thankfully, Mitsuru's battle instincts are such that her body reacts before she's really aware of what's going on - she jerks back just in time to avoid his hands around her neck. Unfortunately, she still doesn't have much time to make a move herself.
Still, she'll try. She needs more distance, so she puts one hand on the stair's railing to vault herself over it. If she manages to make it over before Ryoji grabs her again - which could go either way, really - she'll run straight into the circus. Even the clowns might be preferable to this.]

As he chases her, he removes that scythe again, holding it over his head so that he's ready to pierce her with it as soon as he can get close. Of course, Mitsuru is probably a lot quicker than he is.]

Thankfully, raising her Evoker to her head while running is something that she has more than enough practice with to do with ease now. As she pulls the trigger, she turns back to face him -]
Artemisia!
[- and the Persona emerges with a Mabufudyne, just as Ryoji brings his scythe down to pierce it.
Mitsuru's not sure if she's fast enough, but at least if she goes down she'll go down fighting.]

Before long, he's launching himself at Mitsuru again, with Thanatos's blade aimed towards her this time. He's faster now that he's transformed, and still has the same amount of determination fueling his attacks. He has to stop Mitsuru, one way or another.]

[Mitsuru looks down, and she can't quite believe her eyes. There's... a sword. She's actually been pierced by a sword. Right through the stomach... Ryoji pierced her with a sword.
Something about this feels incredibly wrong, but she can't pinpoint what. Slowly, she raises her head to look at him.
He's not Ryoji. He was Ryoji - but he's not -
Her vision is starting to blur, but she's trying to bring her Evoker up to her head anyway. She almost makes it - but then her arm drops to her side. The Evoker slips out of her fingers and clatters to the ground.
Not fast enough...]

There. He's done his duty. He should be allowed to stop now.
Unfortunately, it's not that easy. Even so much lost blood was not enough to satisfy Death's calling. He had to make her suffer more for the disobedience she continued to show.
He shoves her down to the ground, crouching next to her and slicing at more of her skin. He presses a hand against her lips, trying to silence her... if the acid on his skin burns her, well, that's just added punishment.]
