Event: Quarantine
Characters: any characters trapped in rooms during the event
Setting: dormitory level rooms
Format: any
Summary: An unexpected series of explosions has trapped residents in the dorm rooms with no power and no way to get out. Try to communicate with the outside, deal with being stuck in a small room with other people... Deal with the really strange things that seem to be happening, too.
Warnings: typical Animus horror event warnings
[There are several more explosions, and the sound of things falling and crumbling outside. The dorm rooms themselves don't collapse or cave in, but the furniture and trunks and nightstands may be rattled and knocked about. Eventually, the lights flicker and go out entirely, leaving everyone in the dark. There are small red emergency lights lining the floors, but they don't seem to have come on all the way, and flicker on and off eerily.
After maybe twenty minutes everything falls silent. However, if you try the door, you'll find you can't get out...]

Room 3-03; Sunday 29th
Had he been human, maybe it wouldn't be such a great surprise then at how at one point on the Sunday his body finally slumps more into the wall, and to one side slightly. Sephiroth's head falls forward limply - silver obscuring his face from view. Hands fall from their position rested atop his bent knees, the natural leverage from them what stops him from sliding more to meet with the floor. From one hand rolls a named syringe; unused.]

She was waiting for the day he finally tossed her against the wall for being completely friendly to him and nagging him about everything. She crouched next to him and spoke. ]
You're going to make yourself completely sick if you keep this up.
[ She replied getting straight to the point. ]
Now we can do this the easy way or I'm going to knock you out with a spell and do it. You know I'm not going to be afraid of the consequences.

[ Ishtar is seriously not going to like the aftermath of this, but she's going to do what she thinks is right. Now, the first task is how she is going to remove some of this stuff so she can get to skin at least. Or maybe the wrist? She's not sure where needles go, but she'll try. ]
Don't hate me for this. It's for the better of your health.
Opening to anyone who might wanna help?
At least he can't flinch at the needle, being unconscious. The illusions can't get to him either.]
sjdhgsk ahahah Ish will keep trying and people can jump in whenever >>

I will Move him as you require. Here--
[In a trice, the Coat is off, leaving Sephiroth's chest exposed. Lancelot looks to Ishtar for further thoughts. His own injection he made into the crook of his arm.]
what more Help do you require?

Thank you so much...Lancelot right?
[ She offers him a small smile. ]
I think we can try to get it through here. I don't know any medical procedures that are safe, but would the neck be a viable place to inject this or his chest or whatever? Why do people wear so much armor anyway?

[This is said whilst he finishes maneuvering Sephiroth into place. He gives Ishtar a tolerant glance, despite his poor mood.]
and to show their foes that they are fierce and not easily defeated.
No thanks are necessary-- and I believe the chest should suffice.
I took my own in the thigh.

[ She replied nodding to his words. She's not sure what else to say while he helps her out. ]
I can see that, definitely. Okay, I'll do that then.
[ With that being said, Ishtar takes her syringe and stabs it slowly into Sephiroth's chest to get the liquid into his bloodstream. ]
Still, thank you again, Lacelot

But as soon as thick-lashed eyelids began to twitch they opened to a stinging sense of dizziness right behind them which instantly crunched glimmers of green closed again as Sephiroth raised a gloved hand groggily to hold his forehead against the instant headache that felt as if someone had dealt a hammer blow right between his eyes.
As he lay there, not even acknowledging Ishtar or even Lancelot who might have stayed nearby, Sephiroth then realized something worse - that too-often experienced sensation of mortality, of a blanket smothering his extended senses and instincts, weighing his movements down from their usual fluidity - powerlessness.
Steeling his resolve against that sickening feeling it he rolled away from Ishtar and pushed against the floor in an attempt to at least get back into sitting-]

...Hey do you need some water or anything?
[ She knew that it was a sensitive question and she knew how he was but still. ]

Pointedly ignoring Nesir's existence in the room he locks his eyes on Ishtar's face when she talks. Renewed anger swells within him, that apologetic smile just spoke volumes - she'd done it, when at least being unconscious freed him from the hallucinations and all the noises. How dare she.]
Save it. [Sephiroth grumbles in her direction, the hand at his chest again rising to cradle his forehead between thumb and forefinger.]

Yeah, he was pissed, but she did what she could and that was it. It's not like she wanted to. She didn't want to see him die, so she tested the waters. ]
I know you're pissed, but honestly, it's better than watching you die.
hope you dont mind

Now wasn't this pitifully ironic? If he wasn't feeling altogether too wretched and uncertain of his own defense being quick enough if Nesir launched a dagger next Sephiroth might well have thrown it back at her the same way she had done days ago.
But No. Sephiroth is tired by now of all of it and is at the end of the proverbial stick-with-which-to-give-a-shit and so he picks up the bottle. He hadn't even realized how dry his throat was until he'd grumbled at Ishtar and so, unscrewing the cap and smelling the water first Sephiroth took a small sip.]

lmao you guys XD
[ She replied softly. She was glad that he at least didn't snap back, though the irony was pretty damn obvious. She was already under fire, so she left it at that. Kind of was just a term used because she lacked a better term for that. ]
