Yotsuba and...

Characters: Yotsuba Koiwai and you!~
Setting: Dorm room 1-03 and the dorm floors.
Format: Prose, but I'll match you.
Summary: A very shaken Yotsuba returns the the Tower and tries to find the people she knew so that she can 'warn' them and get some answers as to what happened to her.
Warnings: Yotsuba will be crying here. Seeing a dead father that you love dearly will do that. Information as to what she saw can be found on her profile.

When Yotsuba woke up, she wasn't expecting to be in a bed. Scared, she sat up and tried to think as to where she was, since she had forgotten a little bit, since so much time had passed, and since she had seen so many terrifying things. Remembering, and not bothering to read the the notes she had been given or look in her trunk, she got out of bed and carefully wandered into the hall. Her destroyed world had been terrible..and lonely. She didn't want her Daddy to be like that! She didn't want it at all..so she had to tell everyone so that they could come up with a plan and help him!

But just thinking about it had started to make her cry, and she didn't stop as she rushed about the dorm hallways, crying out, hoping to find someone she knew. Of course, if she bumped into someone else, that would be nice too, but..right now, her mind was going to the people here she knew and loved.

"L-Luci! Dia?! E..Enoch?! Zett! Romeo?! Mr..Mr Edgey?! Rick?! Are you guys here?! Help!"

Of course, to people she hadn't met, she would just look like a scared little kid that had just arrived. To people that knew her though..this would be a bittersweet homecoming of sorts.

The sudden appearance of Lucifel made Yotsuba pause for a moment..before letting go of Zett and trying to wrap one arm around Lucifel's leg and the other arm around Zett's side. While she was really happy to see them again, she also needed answers so that she could know that what she had seen and experienced wouldn't be the future. That she would be able to play with Daddy again. If Zett didn't know, then..she would ask Luci and everyone else.

"Then..do you know, Luci?! How can we fix the bodies? And how are you Zett's uncle?"

After he stopped being awkward for a moment the archangel made a quick flick with his fingers to stop time. As soon as he managed to get Yotsuba off his leg he knelt down to hug them both. The little girl had wanted to hug Zett too, it would be better this way, wouldn't it?

After another quick flick of his fingers time started moving again. "We'll talk a bit later, okay?"

"He's right. Hugs now. We've all missed you... so much, Yotsuba."

Zett wasn't about to mention to Yotsuba that her absence had made him snap, but it was undeniable that it hurt them all deeply. He tightened his part of the hug.

While Lucifel's tricks caught Yotsuba by surprise as they always did, she had no objections to the new position and tightened her hold on both the Angel and the Demon she had missed. While she really wanted answers now, if they were worried, that wasn't a good thing, so questions could probably be held off for a little while.

"..Okay. Yotsuba's sorry I made you all worry! I missed you two and Enoch and Dia and Rick and everyone else too! It was super scary and lonely, so I'm sorry! Zo made a mistake.."

He would try to answer her questions in time but at this moment they had to break the news of her return to Enoch and all the others who knew her. The scribe had been the first to find out that she had been sent back, he shouldn't be the last to hear of her being back. While he can't say that being in the Tower wasn't that safe either, it was better than being alone in a destroyed world.

"It's not Yotsuba's fault, so it's okay. But in what way did Zo make a mistake?"

"You don't have to be sorry for things that aren't your fault," Zett assured her.

While Yotsuba would love to meet Enoch again and see if he was okay, right now, she was just focused on talking and hugging two important people she loved. They kind of reminded her of Rabbit a little, and they way he instituted himself as honorary big brother and took care of her while he was there.

"Okay then..and Zo made a mistake 'cause he put my soul back in my body back home! Zo's in charge sometimes, and he made a mistake with the weather, so he must have made another mistake with my soul because he's little!"

"Ah... Well, but Zo fixed things again, right?" The only person they were blaming was Ruana and not Zo. Thinking of it, they should thank him for taking Yotsuba back.

Lucifel let go of them a moment later, looking at the two of them. "Enoch said he has cramps in his hands and would be at the sauna. I can take us there, but let's make this a surprise?"

"I like surprises." Zett turned to Yotsuba, also letting go of her. "It'll be a great surprise for him, don't you think?"

At the first comment, Yotsuba nodded a little bit, frowning. But, when Lucifel and Zett said that they should surprise Enoch, she smiled. While she had no idea exactly what cramps were-she only knew that it was best to rest when you worked so that you didn't get tired and that it was best to work before eating-it sounded like fun! It would be a super good surprise!

"He did..but going back was still scary and bad! But let's surprise Enoch! It'll be a super good surprise if he's been worried, and I missed him too! Pull a trick, Luci!"

While Yotsuba would let go of Zett and Lucifel, she would try to one of the Angel's hands. After all, you only needed one to do tricks. At least, that's what it seemed like.

"It will be a good one after a Ruana month. Zett, you make sure your little sister here will be a good girl and not say a thing until I call you." At that the angel was grinning actually. Enoch wouldn't forget this surprise anytime soon, he was sure. "You better hold her hand too."

As he gave Yotsuba's hand a squeeze he lifted his hand, ready to flick with his fingers as soon as Zett would take her hand.

Zett nodded with a grin and took Yotsuba's hand. A good surprise would be a relief after the pain of Ruana month.

While Yotsuba kept smiling and returned Lucifel's squeeze, she wasn't quite sure how she was Zett's little sister. Maybe he wanted to be her honorary big brother but hadn't told her before. Could someone have two brothers? She really didn't know, so while she took Zett's hand and gave it a squeeze too, she spoke.

"It will be! And Yotsuba will be super duper quiet and not let go of Zett..but can I have two honorary brothers? Rabbit's already one, even though he's gone too!"

...Hopefully he was alright. He must have been so lonely back in his world with a dead family..the thought was enough to wipe the smile off Yotsuba's face.

He had wanted to tease Zett a little but it seemed that this teasing didn't get any reaction out of the demon but a grin and had Yotsuba confused. So much for that.

"Yotsuba can have as many honorary siblings as she wants." After a quick head pat he flicked with his fingers, taking them to the sauna. He let go of the little girl's hand then.

"I'll look if Enoch is still here." He them made a 'shh' gesture with a finger and went ahead to look for Enoch.

He'd find Enoch in the mixed sauna, lying such that he almost completely submerged. His nose was just barely above the water, and his head was tilted back.

When Lucifel came into his field of vision, he sat up and looked up at him. He was fully dressed, so there was no way he was here to join him...

"Lucifel?"

He'd get a reaction out of teasing if Zett hadn't already thought of Yotsuba as a little sister.

Zett repeated the 'shh' motion, staying quiet.

While Yotsuba would have liked to reply to what Lucifel said, he traveled so quickly that she didn't have a chance to. Not that she really minded. The head pat was nice, and it was good that Zett could be her honorary big brother too! Maybe Luci could be one too..

But, since everyone was making the 'shh' gesture, telling her to be quiet, Yotsuba just smiled as Lucifel walked off and as Zett repeated the motion. Not wanting him to spoil the surprise either, she made the 'shh' motion to him too, doing her best to stay quiet and fighting the urge to run and follow Luci.

Then he would just have to try something else to tease Zett with next time. Being a big brother wouldn't be something new to him, so he guessed that he wouldn't mind it so much were she to declare him a big brother.

She could run after him in a moment. First...

"Hey. Say Enoch... what's small and green but isn't clover?"

Enoch just blinked up at him. Reached up to rub sweat off his face - though his hand was wet so it didn't do him much good.

"...Many things."

Zett waited patiently and hoped that Lucifel wouldn't take so long that Yotsuba would come out on her own.

Hopefully Lucifel wouldn't take too long with his guessing game. Yotsuba had quite a few questions for Enoch, and while she had been told to put those on the back burner right now, she did want to see him again. After all, he was a good person that helped her out and taught her a lot.

So, the green-haired girl just held Zett's hand tighter and, smiling, did her best to fight the urge to yell out or run towards Lucifel.

"Then I guess it would take a while for you to find an answer, but there's no time for that." The archangel turned away from Enoch, towards the direction where Zett an Yotsuba were.

"I think you have to tell him!"

"Hmm?" Enoch twisted to push himself partway out of the sauna, looking in the direction Lucifel was looking. He'd recognized the "I have a surprise for you" sort of question, but, naturally, he'd have no way of knowing what it was, and if it was something that Lucifel had gotten someone else involved with...what could it be?

There. Zett grinned and pulled Yotsuba's small hand, leading her into the sauna where Enoch was.

"Surprise~?"

Oh, Zett didn't have to pull. When Lucifel called out, she rushed into the sauna with Zett and cried out, smiling at Enoch. It was great to see him again! The bees knees!

"It's me, Enoch! I'm back, I'm back! Are you okay?! I'm sorry for making you super worried!"

If Enoch wasn't lying in the sauna, she would have jumped in to give him a big hug. But it would have been bad to get her clothes wet, and she didn't have a bathing suit, so she didn't.
