08 | your blood drool attracts the flies
Characters: Zett Takajo and you!
Setting: 58, 29, 13, Wildcard.
Format: Actionspam, will switch to match.
Summary: Zett spends the day in his demonic (
belzebul) form. He practices flying, hangs around the hedge maze, sings an irreverent song in the church, and at night goes monster hunting.
Warnings: Violence towards monsters or people possible. Irreverence towards churches.
[A: floor fifty-eight, day]
[Tall floors mean flying practice, and Zett takes advantage of the full height of the floor, flying in complicated arcs and loops in a way that would probably be very impressive if you could ignore the hanging corpses above him.
Maybe you can ignore that. Your call.
When he feels like he's done enough, he reclines against a wall for a bit.]
[B: floor twenty-nine, day]
[Since Zett can just fly over the hedge maze, he enjoys this floor and its lovely plants. He can be found stopping to smell the roses, or if someone seems to be having trouble with the maze itself-]
Need a hint?
[-he'll be a good Samaritan.]
[C: floor thirteen, day]
[Demons in his world aren't actually hurt by churches, so he's just going to stretch out on one of the pews.
He won't actively bother anybody praying, but if it doesn't look like anyone is...]
Old Noah was mucking the Ark out one day when he heard a great shriek from the neighboring stall, said he to poor Ham who was hugging his loins, "Ah, the hedgehog, my boy, can't be buggered at all"~
[Obviously he has tons of respect for sanctity.]
[D: any floor that doesn't null powers, night]
[While it is strange for monsters to fight each other, you'd be forgiven for believing the giant fly-person shooting lightning to be another monster. If you're going hunting, too, or he's distracted you might even get an attack in before he greets you with a] Hey!
[Whether you assume he's a monster or not, he's certainly a sight. Most common enemies don't stand much of a chance.]

After a moment he looks up and nods, admitting defeat. He's lost.]
Um. Yes, please!

[Zett may look kind of scary to a young nation, but he's being truthful. Right is indeed the correct path.]
no subject
[Only a little unsure, Sealand does as instructed and turns to the right. It's not long until he comes across another fork in the path.]
Where now? Am I near the exit yet?
no subject
[It's like he says. Zett flies over the hedges to meet him there.]
no subject
Thanks! I thought I was gonna be lost in there until it got dark.

What is that, exactly? [She sounds very amused from where she's leaning against the staircase.]

[He knew Zoe wouldn't mind. Zett lifts his head up to grin at her over a pew.]
no subject
Well, it is certainly interesting. I will have to ask you to teach me some of the verses one day, then.
no subject
How have you been, Zoe?
no subject
And I have been alright. Nothing too awful, and I had fun at that carnival before it went all Tower on us. What about you?

Yeah! Yotsuba would like one! But who are you?! Are you a good person?!
no subject
Well, I don't know, am I a good big brother? Go left.
no subject
Oh! Zett! You're a good honorary big brother! I didn't re..recognize you like that! How did you turn into that?!
no subject
[He could probably do the biggest form Aleph's Beelzebub takes... or even the really giant Zebul that had absorbed him, but he didn't want to take that form.]
no subject
I dunno what a talent is, but it's still awesome that you can turn into that! What else can you turn into though?!

[Now that was someone Lucifel heard about. But that's another story.]
Why should I have expected you to be one of those having fun with songs like these?
no subject
[Zett stretches out all of his arms.]
Come to think of it, I was like this when we met, wasn't I?
no subject
[Seriously, he doesn't want to explain why a Ham was hugging his loins to her.]
Yeah, but I think you were sleeping.
no subject
Yeah, I was. I think that was also the day I started calling Enoch 'uncle'.
[He had a complicated reason for it at the time involving family trees in different universes, but now it's more of 'I like him and you can't stop me from saying it'.]
no subject
[But as long as Zett wouldn't do such a thing it's all fine.]
How long ago is it...
[Lucifel tries to remember how long it's been... but he has difficulties with doing so. Him not traveling through time however he liked it is still something he isn't used to.]

Floor Twenty Nine
He grunted then saw movement. He unsheathed his great sword and took a few steps towards the figure. At first sight he looked like a wood elf. Could it be another elf within the maze alongside him? He growled. Ungh. Elves.]
What be you doing here, lad?
no subject
[While Zett may normally look like an elf, he doesn't stay that way. Darkness surrounds him and when it clears he's a lot more like a giant fly who rises up over the hedge walls and takes a look around.]
This is a lot easier than just walking.
no subject
Are you some kind of mage?
no subject
[Although considering what he was under the influence of that day, he doesn't blame him for not believing him.]
You should put that sword away before you hurt somebody.
