Summary: Riki's offered a way to help keep the Tower powered a little longer. Obviously this is going to cause a lot of discussion and debate so let's CONSOLIDATE
Warnings: Nothing as of yet. Possibly eventually, so keep an eye on subject lines and I 'll try to change to reflect any developments

[No doubt Riki's announcement would be polarizing, but the instructions themselves were clear: Floor 1 at noon if you want to help out. And if you want to meet people, try to talk them in or out of it? Or hell, maybe even just talk about the revelation on who is behind those explosions? Well, this is as good a place as any for that too.

[Waver actually laughed at that--more accurately, he stifled a laugh behind his hand.]

I have to admit, that was incredibly amusing while it lasted.

Remind me to take him back up to the mushroom ring floor. Maybe I can work out a deal with the faeries to give him the tongue to go with it. He'd match that giant slobber machine of his.

I don't doubt for a second that he will. That's the other reason I'm here.

If I can, yes. Even if that proves impossible, I don't want one of us to walk into something stupid without the other.

[Last time he had talked to Waver, the guy hadn't seemed fine in the least sense.]

...Things aren't exactly perfect, but that's to be expected.

[Folding his arms, Waver glanced around a little uneasily.]

He was flat-out grateful, which I think was the worst part of it.

Speaking as someone who's been under Ganondorf's influence, that's not all that surprising a reaction.

Especially coming from Diarmuid, I wasn't surprised. I simply...don't like it. That's all.

Blame him, not Diarmuid. Ultimately, he's no better than the beings that trap us here.

I'm not blaming Diarmuid for any of it. I just don't want to hear him thanking me for doing something like that.
