...I don't know if I'm much of a horseback riding kind of girl.

Come on, it'll be fun. There's nothing like a good ride to get your spirits up.

[Meanwhile, Liath Macha gnashes her teeth at Asagi, causing Lancer to give it a quick glare and shake of his head.]

Oh hell no. Your horse better realize I will turn it into glue if it crosses me, Puppy.

[puppy_lancer]

[He winces.]

H-hey, girl, did you just hear what she said? She's tougher than me, so you need to listen!

[Huffing, she rolls her eyes and looks between him and the horse.]

Honestly, which of you is actually in charge here anyway?

[puppy_lancer]

Neither. We're partners and equals. She's a proud horse and deserves respect. They called her the King of Horses back in my place, you know.

O...kay. If you say so. She just seems like an uppity horse to me.

[puppy_lancer]

She's got a lot of spirit. How else could she drag my chariot into battle so many times?

Because she's a horse? It's kind of part of what they do. Or at least, what humans use them for.

[It's so hard not to make a joke about horsepower right now Lancer, really it is.]

Yeah, but that's normal horses and normal humans. I'm a hero.

[Horsepower? More like Powered Horse.]

[A roll of her eyes.]

Because I'm charming and can give you a good workout?

[He sits up and then leans toward her, his lips puckering up as if to kiss her.]

[She plants her hand into his face without hesitation, pushing him back and away.]

You still have to make things up to me, remember?

[puppy_lancer]

Hey, I'm offering the horseback ride. Everything else is gonna come later.

[He stands up and starts walking toward his horse.]

...oh fine. But if she throws me off or something, I'm definitely making glue out of her.

[She rolls to her feet with a huff, arms crossed.]

The rest of this making things up to me had better be amazing.

[puppy_lancer]

It'll be worth it. I promise.

[He grabs the horse's mane and hops on her back. Then, he holds his he holds his hand out to Asagi.]

Hop on.

...fine.

[She does hop on, albeit carefully, looking slightly sulky as she does.]

Alright... let's go.

[puppy_lancer]

[Liath Macha neighs, as if objecting to the stranger on her back. Especially since said stranger might be hostile. However, Cu Chulainn pats her on the head, keeping her calm. He then sends her the signal to go, causing her to break into a brisk gallop.]
