Taking the long road home

Characters: Anyone. Everyone.
Setting: The few days after the event, throughout the Tower as you will.
Format: Mingle! Assign your own dates/locations/etc, tag yourself, do as you do.
Summary: Jason's dead. So are a lot of other people. Fallout and picking up the pieces.
Warnings: Discussion of death and cannibalism inevitable.

[Catch-all for events following the Event. Discuss Jason's death and its consequences, come back from the dead, party?, quiver in fear?, take a long, hot bath. Whatever it is you do, do it here.]

It's nothing, don't worry about it. Although...did that hurt or something? It shouldn't have, unless I'm worse than I think.

[It was a little hard for a teacher of magic to always remember some people didn't think it existed.]

Ah, no. Forgive me but I am used to having my arm healed normally. It's nothing personal.

Oh--right, of course. I'm so used to having magic circuits that limited as they are, I've begun to forget that isn't standard.

[Waver frowned, wondering how he could have overlooked that.]

Now that I think of it...ordinary humans are in rather short supply around here, aren't they? I wonder if there's a reason for that.
frilliance: (I will make you guilty)

You think that might be more than just a coincidence?

Talking of which, those of us with no powers had a considerable advantage in December....[Was it more than just clumsiness on Jason's part?]
fionnuisce: (wait for now)

I haven't any evidence to assume it anything but coincidence at the moment. Even if it is, it's one worth remarking on even in passing.

Right, that business with the plague doctors. I had assumed them geared more towards eliminating actual threats first...do you think there was something else to it?
