New Roommates

OOC: Catch all mingle thread for the roommate shuffle. Characters have woken up in a new room (or in the same room with new roommates.)

Indeed. [He nodded, eyes still hard, his eyes narrowed at his last words] Bad reasons are as harmful as no reasons at all.

[Sorry, was there a dramatic staredown going on in here? Because Shinji is going to interrupt with a loud, dramatic sigh now.]

Sheesh, if they were going to move us around, you'd think they'd be more mindful about these kinds of things. [With that said, he slips out of bed, feet hitting the floor softly.] Look, I don't really care what kind of issues you two have with each other, but if you're going to keep this up, take it outside. I'd rather not have anything of mind broken.

Bad reasons...

[He mused as a half-taunt, half-honest question. Just in time for the kid with the blue hair to speak up. Sephiroth regarded Shinji more carefully, or rather what he could see around Suzaku.

As Shinji slipped down from his bed, Sephiroth recognized the boy from sometime before-]

There is nothing to take outside. [He rose his glare to be square at Suzaku's face] Right?

[It's clear that Sephiroth didn't much like the idea of sleeping in a room with enemies, either.]

[Suzaku's eyes flickered to Shinji when he sighed and then nodded, scowling back at Sephiroth] Indeed, there is nothing we need to keep up. You needn't worry Shinji, we will not break your things.

[looselips]

Good. Make sure it stays that way.

[He waves a hand, then, as if to say the issue is settled and there should be no more discussion about it. Even so, as he pads over to his trunk, he keeps the two of them in his peripheral vision.]

[Sephiroth watches Shinji and follows the small boy with his eyes all the way to the trunk. He then shook his head, flicked eyes over Suzaku for a moment and then turns away to the edge of his bed that was away from them both.]

No worries.

[End of the conversation as far as he is concerned.]

[Suzaku just nods and sits back down, prepared to let it drop but not prepared to leave Shinji in the room alone with Sephiroth, at least not yet.]
